Family vacation - Everything was perfect!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. Everything was clean and easy to find and figure out how to use. The hot tub was crystal clear and keeping it treated throughout the week was very easy. The pool table was especially fun for our family. The best part was was an amazing view from every single room in the house. We will definitely keep this cabin on our list to visit again.

Incredible View

We have spent every year for the past 15 years in Gatlinburg and this was our first visit to Blue Ridge and it was stunning. Absolutely loved the beautiful mountains. Wish the property manager would have been a bit more responsive to our messages but nothing urgent. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Getaway!

Definitely the view off the back porch was well worth it
peaceful, beautiful, relaxing. We loved the cabin too - spacious floor plan and beds very comfortable. To the coffee drinkers - there was both the Keurig and a drip machine but you do need to bring your own coffee and filters. We had such a great get-away and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Perfect Thanksgiving Cabin!

We loved our stay at "Plane View", the accomodations were perfect for our family. Views are amazing and fireplace perfect for the cold days/ nights. The game room was an added bonus for everyone to enjoy! Nice paved roads too!

Re-name this cabin Squeaky View

I have rented many times in the Blue Ridge area so I have a lot to compare to this cabin. My main issue is that it is absolutely NOT dog friendly as there is not a place to walk them. We had total anxiety every time we had to walk them because the only place was just next to the very steep drop off. If a dog slips out of its collar and slips down the mountain there would be no way to get to them back. It was awful. The whole house floors squeak so bad that you heard every move during the night when someone got up to go the bathroom or kitchen. Just generally walking around when we were up was annoying, The fireplace was very disappointing. It was controlled by the thermostat and comes on and off by itself. Had this been on the instruction card we wouldn't have had to bother the maintenance man. The light over the kitchen sink and counter were both out and could not be fixed when the guy came the second time which made it difficult to food prep. There was no light on the porch so we couldn't see out there at night at all. Our upstairs toilet kept backing up making the guests have to travel all the way down to the basement during the night to use that bathroom. Somehow that cleared up on it's own. The hot tub smelled like mildew. No one wanted to get in due to the smell. The wood chair in the living room is awful for banging a knee or ankle when getting in and out of and the windows were filthy. I would not recommend this cabin and I hope nobody ever looses their dog down the only availably area to walk them. 4 out of 10 for us

Possibly the best view of any place we've stayed in Blue Ridge. The Escape to Blue Ridge property management team was extremely responsive to every call we made. Great amenities. Only complaint was that the upstairs double bed was relatively uncomfortable. Absolutely everything else was 2 enthusiastic thumbs up.

This house has incredible views and it is very comfortable. The master is a little bit small and got crowded quickly - but the outdoor space is perfect. We had a great time and would come back!

Breathtaking View

Beautiful cabin with a magnificent view of the mountains. Close to so many fun activities. Nothing was more than 30 minutes away. We hiked, saw waterfalls, went white water rafting and renting a pontoon boat on beautiful Lake Nottely. My family and I had a blast. To come back to the cabin and sit in the hot tub looking at the mountains and the radiant sunset was a great way to end our day. We will definitely rent this cabin again!

Wonderful cabin get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Plane View. The home has a warm inviting feel with plenty of room for a family to have quality time alone or together. The multiple decks are perfect for gathering and enjoying Mother Nature along with the absolutely amazing views. The home is well equipped with everything you may need and the layout is very functional. Beds are comfortable and the furniture is perfect for lounging. Lastly the hot tub is great and a must to use under the amazing starry skies.

Comfortable cabin with great view of sky and mountains

The view was wonderful -- looking out over the mountains. We were there when the trees frosted over creating a spectacular scene for 2 days, which was wonderful to look at since we did not want to leave and risk driving down the icy road. The cabin was clean. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The gas fireplace in the living room was very nice, automatically turning on and off with the temperature. The deck was roomy. We really liked this cabin and hope to return.
