The host was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was great. The only complaint is the neighbor who has dogs that bark consistently when the owners are not at their home. We wanted to have a peaceful environment and chose to leave the cabin early. The host did grant us a refund for the days we did not stay at the cabin.

Peaceful getaway.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Trail Tree Hideway. The pictures and description of the cabin were on point. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. There was plenty to do to keep our 2 teenagers occupied including the hot tub, pool table, fire pit, and large variety of board games. Ms. Alyssa was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Our family would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quite peaceful getaway.

Beautiful Stay

House was even more beautiful than I could imagine. Every detail is thought of and the home lacked no amenities. The location was 20 minutes from the Blue ridge scenic railway, however the home is fully stocked, so staying a day in the cabin is just as fun as going out! We cooked most of our stay and lacked no utensils. Just MAKE SURE you put the accurate number of people in your party when you requests booking or else the owner will contact you at 840 a.m during your stay. Other than that you should be fine. Ali make sure you read all instructions when you check in,

Great Vacation!

Loved the cabin. Exceptionally clean, has everything you would need. Everything works, beautiful location. Very comfortable. Had deer visit every morning and evening. The screened-in porch was great. Loved the game room and hot-tub. Communication was great. Highly recommend. Will be back!

Awesome Sisters Getaway

The cabin was beautiful. It had all the amenities we needed. The screened porch on the second floor made you feel like you were up in the trees and you could watch the deer from there. We were warned about the “steep road” that we would need to drive in on but it did not prove to be a problem (and we were driving a small SUV and a regular car).

We had a wonderful stay in Fanning county! The house was so beautiful and peaceful.

The cabin in Fanning county was perfect for our family. The whole family could hang out together in the game room or the kids could watch TV in the game room while daddy watched what he wanted in the living room. Wonderful Cabin

The cabin was great! The basement contained a pool table, dart board, games and books. These kept my grandsons very happy!. Plus there are bunk beds and a bathroom for the boys (girls, too, if you have them). The only bad thing was the very bumpy, gravel road to get to the cabin. However, once you were there, it was wonderful.

21 anniversary

This cabin was very nice, well stocked, and clean. We prefer something a little more secluded, but the area is quite and unless you are leaving or coming, you really don’t notice the neighbors. The only complaint I have is the jetted tube really needs to be deep cleaned. When I ran water and started the jets, mold and debris shot out of the jets. I cleaned the tub up and used the hot tub to relax. Thank you for sharing your home with us. There was so much to do, we only left to go out to eat!

A lovely tucked away haven that is family friendly.

For reference, my husband and I have 3 kiddos ranging from 18 months to 10 years old. This space was perfect for our family of 5! My oldest daughter camped out upstairs and had her own private balcony area. The master bedroom was ground level and connected right out to the screened in porch area. I could have stayed on the swing all day! The basement offered a wonderful game room that everyone enjoyed and nestled off to the side was a bedroom we kept our toddler twins tucked away in for sleepy time. Outside their window was the hot tub and cornhole boards, which we both used often. Yet our toddlers were never disturbed! That could have also been because we kept them worn out, but nonetheless! The cabin was beautiful, laid out in a functional way, and we loved the privacy it offered with a short 20-30 minute drive to all the hiking spots we wanted to go. We plan on returning in the future.

This cabin is extremely nice, very clean and well-appointed. With a bedroom on each floor, the layout is great for 3 or more people who want their own quiet space at night. The cabin is was nice. But the fridge was not clean, inside the oven was not cleaned, numerous rooms had Cobb webs, pillow cases on bed was not clean, and husband called me speaking in a very passive aggressive tone. I have been communicating with the wife who was very respectful. Lastly it your going to micro manage the guest so hard make sure you micro manage your cleaning staff to ensure it is 100 % by everyone's standards

The cabin was absolutely adorable. It was clean and and so beautifully put together. The owners really pay attention to the details which made it all the more special. There were things to keep the kids and adults entertained…from karaoke to the hot tub to the fireplaces….enjoyed it all!! The communication from the owners was impressive.
