Very disappointing to pull up to our cabin to see it was stuck behind some scrub with minimal view. The fireplace listed as a highlight of the room on Expedia was non-existent.
When I pointed out the lack of both view and fireplace despite the listing, I was told: "Take it up with Expedia." "You know, you could have picked up the phone." and a withering, "I can assure you, you received EXACTLY what you paid for."
Belittling. Unprofessional. Rude. Dismissive. After driving around the property, I am convinced we were given the worst cabin. It went from an exciting splurge to a place we could not wait to get out of.
This rude man also complained about Expedia making his life difficult when they choose to be listed on here and not take accountability for their listing.
Their dogs are aggressive and bark loudly all night long. I tried walking my dog in the dark one morning and one of them came tearing up to our cabin and chased us inside. Pet friendly?
The restaurant is AMAZING and worth going out of your way for. The staff were so nice and lovely people all around. They should also work at the front.
If ZMR can treat customers like that in these challenging times, they must not need your dollars. There are lots of great places to stay over in Springdale that won't treat anyone like this.
Fortunately, we got the bad out of the way early on our 5,300-mile road trip.w
The cabin was spacious, beds were deliciously comfy, oversized bathtub is delightful, staff were friendly and efficient. The cabin needed a few things fixed or replaced but overall the stay was lovely. Onsite restauant, Cordwood, was excellent!
cabin looks good spacious and bathroom has separation for tub shower toilet sink and closet, bed is comfy sheets and pillows smells and feel clean, Ac unit in our room dont work well, had a hard time sleeping cause it wont cool our room dont want to open windows cause there isnt screen except in toilet room but then again dont want bugs to come in since the screen can still let in bugs. woke up the 2nd day and spiders in tub had to squish then sorry.
the cabin could do a little deep clean cause its a shame that the floor has alot of hard stains, needs some steam floor cleaning walls has alot web.. pathway to our room is dark and we got there at night and have to climb stairs to carry luggages compared to other areas where they dont have stairs to climb up just flat ground and paved our cabin with other ones are up on hill with stairs and climbing ground though covered with wood chips, still hard to pull all our stuff up.
the food at the restaurant ( cordwood ) is great breakfast buffet for $19 each and croissant is amazing!! didnt get to experience lunch or dinners since were at zion park most of the day.
would we come back again? yes but hope the room is better kept and Ac fixed.

The only thing I liked about this place was quietness. But that didn’t even last long. The ranch dogs cried all night, we were not able to sleep all night. This place was nothing special. The pictures shown the website are not like the real cabins. It was beaten up, dirty, mean (the reception guy), and expensive (espionage dining).
Beautiful property with private cabins tucked into woods. Nice front porch to sit with a glider. There is a lovely garden and 5 huge Great Pyrenees on property with tiny horses and chickens. Staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was a neat experience but quite pricey and not as delicious as imagined. I would stay here again!
Loved everything about this place! Everything!
Location, bison roaming around, horses, restaurant, the night sky!!!! Can’t say enough great things! Relaxation after a very crowded day at Zion!
Cob webs hanging from ceiling fan no local tv service and the system there using to get streaming services was not working with Apple phone called Apple and they couldn ’t help
Wilderness and star gazing aspect was a nice and the buffalo tour staff were friendly and informative but food at the restaurant was okay especially since the food was pricey. The stay was also priced a lot higher for what we got which our cabin had squeaky beds and the door kept jamming. It was a family trip so when we tried going to the porch without waking our children, we had to ninja our way in and out. If they are going to charge more, they should definitely also do of their part to do more like maintaining cabins and quality control for their food.
The cabins on a hill have a nice pastoral view, and nice decor. Ours even had a jacuzzi as well as a porch. But that was the lumpiest mattress ever, and I’m not picky. The pillows were too hard as well. I like to read a bit before sleep but there are no bedside lights, just the one in the center of the ceiling. And a minor point: one little bar of soap to serve the sink, the tub, and the shower. The owners need to spend a night in cabin 176 so as to be made aware of the need to notice these things.
Had the most amazing stay! Fantastic location close to the national park entrance. The cabins are great, service is efficient and the food at the restaurant is exceptional. We did the sunset horse back riding tour and did not disappoint. We will definitely be back here! Extra love for the wonderful and friendly doggos who walked us home to our cabin in the dark, securing our safety :)
