Pros: It was reasonably clean. The rooms are dated and could use some updating. The person checking us in was friendly. It was easy to find. It was a quiet place and we felt safe.
Cons: The front desk is not manned at night. Our bed had a funky smell. It was from the bedspread. There were strong food odors in the hallway. The bed also bounced a lot every time one of us moved, waking up the other person.
Overall it was fine.
I would not stay there again. The TV didn't work. The ice machine was broken. The hotel was run down. There was no hot water. And the hotel smelled bad.

Its not bad for what it is but there are nicer higher end hotels nearby for the same price. Its better for extended stay.
We had a super quick and easy check-in and even faster check-out! This is exactly the cute, quaint and charming water town motel you’re looking for. Not walkable to downtown but easy drive and parking wasn’t hard, even on a festival weekend. We loved it!
If you like older, family-style run motels, go her

After a long drive to the area we stopped for a late dinner. At about 9:40 pm I recieved a phone call from the manager telling me I had to check in before 10 pm. This was not stated in hotels.com so I told him that. We were 25 min away from the hotel. After several phone calls back and forth he told me the night manager would let me in but I had to be there by 10:30 pm. It was 9:55 at this point so we had our food packed up and arrived at the hotel in time to check in. He gave me the key without any instructions as to where our room was or what the key was for. (Turns out it was for both the outside door and our hotel room door)
As for the room, it is very run down with old furniture and old kitchenette. I wanted to make coffee in the morning but I found the pot was dirty and there was a dried up coffee bag in the basket.
Room smelled very strongly of lettuce. Multiple lights in room did not work, fireplace would not turn off making room very warm, breakfast consisted of frozen waffles and a couple pieces of toast. front desk was rarely in.
The hotel hasn't been updated since the 80's. Uncomfortable bed, small TV, sugar ants in our room, tiny bath towels and the kleenex dispenser was empty. The continental breakfast didn't open until 7:30. The price was reasonable but the accommodations were only fair.
The location is convenient but the bedding had small stains and the room next door was connected by 2 doors on the side of the room and offered little sound insulation. The neighbors weren't even that loud but you could hear even regular conversation clearly. The ice machine in the hallways also popped very loudly at 15 minute intervals.
On the day I checked in , the sheets were dirty , there was food left on the small table and the floors weren’t vacuumed . Absolutely disgusting. I’ve been requesting a call back from management for about two weeks now and no one has bothered to address the issue.
