I booked the hotel based off the images on Expedia. However, when driving into the property, the property looked run down and we were having second thoughts. I checked in and asked to have two rooms close together which we were given rooms on the third floor. I asked if there were any rooms on the first floor since we had kids with us and there were and we were given those keys. We went to the first room which was #108 and was right next to the pool and once we went in, it smelled like chlorine so bad. SO BAD! We went to the next room to check it out, #109, and it didn't smell too bad. I then went back to the front desk to ask if we can be moved back to the third floor rooms which we were able to. #308 and #309 rooms were okay. It looked like the carpets were not vacuumed in a while and there were towels folded in the bathroom but when you opened them, there was noticeable dirt marks on two of them. There was a random hair clip on the curtains and just felt dirty. The pool looked like the water hasn't been refreshed in a while. The breakfast option was good though. We booked this hotel for three nights but canceled the last 2 nights and paid the cancel fee of $87 per room went someplace else. My sister and I were traveling with our kids and we just did not feel safe at this hotel. This hotel needs some TLC.

Sink was leaking, outside door lock to the room was broken, the staff was all nice and helpful, with the exception of the person who was stocking the breakfast, who told me that I am "taking too much food" (2 and a half plates for 3 people, myself, wife and daughter) and I was told I was not allowed to take food out of the room, despite every table and chair being occupied at that time, and I was holding a crying 1 year old child. Other than that, the breakfast itself was good. There was a nice variety, and the rest of the staff addressed concerns in a helpful way.
