Iffy stay else where.

My kids rate this property a one star… it was a place to sleep. Crazy lazy next door shouting I think she might of lived in there. Outside looked ok at best inside was worse… I would definitely pass on this one and I will not stay here again kind of felt crack head like.

The motel was affordable and near where I needed to be. The fact that it used the word "motel" in its name lowered my expectations as to quality, amenities and guest service. The property met those expectations, so my rating of "average" is not meant to be critical. The property had my reservation, charged what I expected, the bed was comfortable, bathwater was hot, toilet worked and the front desk person was competent. My stay lasted for 9 hours and then I was on my way home.

Bed was very comfortable. Location was close to everything we needed. Perfect and economical place to stay the night before getting on our early morning ferry the next day. We looked for an ice machine on the property but didn’t find one. Check-in was quick and easy.

I was seeking a quiet, comfy, clean room with a hot shower for a night of rest while I was traveling. The San Juan checked off everything! Next time, I hope to have my whole family with me - we could easily stay here and have plenty of room (w/a bonus - full kitchenette and 2 large tvs at the price point). The owner/staff are friendly & accommodating. I had a request that helped me out a ton that I'm sure other places would give you grief on (1st floor needed and I arrived a little bit before the 2pm check in and I was able to go right to my room. ). Ample parking and close to plenty of spots for coffee and food. If you are seeking the same, you won't be disappointed.

This was a cheap but clean place, better than other cheaper hotels that I have stayed in. It was nice with a king and queen bed and a very small kitchenette.

It was affordable, suoer clean, lovely staff, and they were very personable, and friendly. Will come back for that reason alone. Parking is really tight and crowded, but I suppose it cant be helped. There was some other parking in the back on the south side and on the west side. There was also a motorhome parked behind the back parking lot in the alley on someone elses property that seemed to be occupied, and made me a little uncomfortable, because it was so close to the cars, but again not the Motels doing. Everything else felt safe. There is no air conditioning but they do provide fans, and the windows do open, which were helpful, as the rooms get warm, at night. Probably a perk in the fall and winter months. I learned that all the rooms are exactly identical, so there aren't any bad ones. I love how the rooms have one king and one double, and the double is back behind the kitchen, and so you have some separation if you need or want it. They have full size fridges as well. Great little place in Anacortes. Right nexdoor to the 7/11 too.

Safe, comfortable motel near ferries

Family-owned motel with two properties. We were upgraded to a guesthouse (converted large house) they own a few blocks away with a large, clean ensuite room with common full kitchen downstairs. Plenty of onstreet parking on a very quiet street. Owners were chatty and friendly, care about their guests. Reasonable price and good value. Right near the docks but about 3 miles to San Juan islands ferry terminal. Safeway and restaurants nearby. Cute little walkable town with lots of shops, seemed safe.

I showed up almost 1.5 hours before the official 2 pm check-in, and they were beyond friendly and accommodating…and on a Thursday leading up to Memorial Weekend no less! Nothing fancy here, furniture is outdated and basic, but my room was large, spotlessly clean, and the location can’t be beat! Seriously, about a two minute walk from the main drag, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. Full-sized refrigerator, a microwave, two TVs, plenty of cabinet space, and even a two-burner stove top built into the counter. No AC, but two quality ocillating fans. Laundry on-site as well. I was only here for one night, but if you’re not too fussy and traveling on a budget this would be a perfect base-camp while exploring the area.

Best hidden gem

Our stay was perfect 2 blocks from downtown no noise rooms are xl large full size fridge freezer not far from Oak Harbor or Burlington the drive is beautiful the owner is wonderful would recommend we will be back next trip
