Very cute. Beautiful view. Cozy gas fireplace. Comfy bed. Welcoming host. Clear trails with some slightly steep climbs on the property. Very pet friendly. Would stay again
We had a wonderful experience at the Ozark Hideaway cabin! Anne is an excellent host! She is very friendly and a wonderful communicator. I always heard back from her in a timely manner if I had any questions. The cabin was very clean and the Christmas decorations were so pretty and just perfect to match the old fashioned theme. The cabin was very quaint and cozy, just what our family prefers. Our little boy loved climbing the ladder to the cute little loft. The whole vibe felt like a Grimms' Brothers fairy tale, which I loved! We went hiking on day one and had picnics on both days. The woods and hiking trails were beautiful and we can't wait to go back during wet weather to be able to enjoy the waterfalls! Five stars from our family! :)
I absolutely enjoyed my stay! The location was so peaceful and relaxing and everything promised. I enjoyed the trails and the thought that went into welcoming me to the property. Anne was amazing and I have already referred several people who were looking for something similar. I will definitely be back.
We loved our stay at this cabin that is truly in the woods! We had everything we needed and more. Super clean, quiet, & so peaceful. If you're looking to get away & just relax this is the place! Anne also has the best communication & great baking skills
I stayed here for a few days for a private retreat. It was quiet, tranquil and just what I needed. The cabin has everything you need. Anne is a great host. Very welcoming and attentive to anything you might need but respectful of your privacy. The property is wonderful and I loved the trails on-site are excellent. Perfect for a short excursion.
We enjoyed our stay so much! The location was perfect for us. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, we enjoyed the trails as soon as we got there. Kitchen was well stocked, and bed was comfortable.
And then there is The Super Premier Host - the owner of this property. Every trip - including our fourth - brings new experiences and enjoyment. It wouldn't be possible if it weren't for our Super Premier Host. Thanks so much for sharing.
This was our favorite of all our VRBO stays. The cabin was adorable in the woods, and the owner resides in a house nearby. We were able to check ourselves in, and she was ALWAYS available if we needed, even to just ask questions. She left us muffins and a birthday card for my daughter, and was so warm and welcoming. We hated to leave. My family is moving to this area. Knowing there are people there that are so kind is a huge plus. Loved Anne and her place!!. The environment is breathtaking..
My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights in November beforeThanksgiving. It's a beautiful, cute, and quiet place. The host were wonderful, kind, and generous. Anne(Host) made some yummy muffins and had a welcome card for us. Loved they had trails you could walk on the property, orange vest, and hats to wear for safety during hunting season. We really enjoyed it and hopefully return again in the future. Thank ya'll for a wonderful getaway.
A perfect, quiet, well furnished place with lovely host and welcoming committee of pets! Beautiful fall colors right out the back door. Close enough to grand gulf state park, close to Caney Mt. Conservation area (very pretty!) and Byrant Creek St. Park (also beautiful!). Spent a 3 day fall break trip there and it was a good choice. Highly recommend it!
We absolutely loved our stay. The hike to the waterfall was beautiful. It was so peaceful and relaxing. If we make it back to Missouri this cabin is definitely on our places stay list. Oh..and she makes the best zucchini blueberry muffins <3
Another wonderful visit to Ozark Hideaway - our 3rd in just over a year. As usual, everything was set up perfectly and even some improvements were made (love the new cookware). Our host is the most dedicated one you'll find that cares about your experience and strives to ensure your time there is both memorable and enjoyable.
Exactly as presented, quite, cozy, clean with all the amenities as stated. Host was friendly and helpful. Property was well maintained. Would recommend a stay there. Will be back god willing
The cabin was very clean and decorated for Christmas! We enjoyed hiking on the well marked trails and enjoyed the serenity of the property. We used the grill and had a small fire in the chiminea. Overall a very relaxing weekend. Also Anne is a great host and even baked us some delicious pumpkin muffins and left a Christmas card. Thank you Anne!
I only gave the accuracy of online posting 4 stars because there has been a change! The futon has been replaced with a new, very comfy couch! Great for naps (we took several đ).
The only other thing I would note is that the fridge is on the small side. We were staying 8 days which is longer than most stay so Iâm sure most of the time it is completely sufficient.
The trails were fabulous. The cabin cozy and comfy. The attention to detail is amazing. Night lights, flashlights, labeling of light switches, etc. Small things that made such a difference!
Overall we had an amazingly quiet, calm and much needed week!
Thanks!!!
If I could rate this any higher, I would. Five stars isnât enough. From the moment we walked in until we left, I was so happy with our choice of where to stay in the Ozarks. If you want a peaceful stay in the country, you will love this rental.
Our second trip this year confirmed this is THE place for R & R. A great place to rest, relax and re-charge while still doing things. Our host is simply the best and we look forward to our next visit.
Everything was terrific! Hiking opportunities on the property & close to many Dawt mill, our familyâs meeting destination. The resort wasnât dog friendly but this little place way. Loved it . Will be back in the future:)
This space was exactly what we were looking for when it came to our getaway vacation! It was peaceful and serene, with lovely views. Anne was very kind to meet with, though we didn't run into each other very often. They were sure to help us out if we needed anything, but everything was smooth! Would definitely stay again in the future. And it was so great to be able to bring our dog along to enjoy the stay as well.
It's a little ways out of Gainsville but worth the drive. Beautiful scenery, hiking trails and friendly hosts. The cabin is clean, well appointed and a great place to relax. We want to make another trip in the fall.
I stayed at the cabin for a week while on a genealogy expedition. I chose the cabin because I wanted the comfort of a home rather than a hotel room. I wasn't disappoint. Charlotte and Anne were gracious hosts who live next to the cabin and are right there if you need anything. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities I needed. The location of the cabin is stellar. I would have my coffee on the back patio and the only thing you will hear is the call of Doves or Whippoorwills. You can also watch the squirrels chasing each other in the trees. I slept at night like I was in my own bed. I only had time to take one short hike down to the waterfall. The woods are beautiful. But be sure to look down as you hike along, there are many unusual rocks to look at to include geodes. I give Ozark Hideaway Cabin 5 stars!
