Basic, no frills Hotel generally well located about 10-15 mins walk from Oktoberfest and the same distance in the other direction to Marienplatz. The restaurant was good.

Good hotel, it was a great location to walk to Octoberfest and to Old Town. The street the hotel is on was pretty noisy at night and the rooms are a little small. The staff was very nice, Knute was awesome and went out of his way to make our stay a great time!

It started at check-in with a large touch screen. You had to type in your info and then it printed your key. It was the next day before we discovered the 1st floor bar/resyurant doubled as a hotel desk. There were no signs or indications the two were related and there was on 1 person on staff. The hotel was almost $500 per night and had desk and bed made of plywood. There was no Air Conditioning and the bed was like a rock. There were both sheer and room darkening drapes but neither set covered the window. We could see people in adjacent rooms when setting on the bed. The lighting was very dim in the room. The plywood desk had a desk lamp with a bulb not much brighter than a nightlight. When taking a shower we found a roach in the shower and the provided blow dryer smoked after a few seconds of use. Finally there was no parking and the extremely limited staff could not even tell us where to park. It was Oktoberfest but even considering this the room was very overpriced. I don’t recommend this hotel unless you can stay for $150 or less.

The room is very basic. Bed is firm and uncomfortable. No air conditioning, so you have to keep the window open. It is an Arabic neighborhood, it is extremely loud until 3am every night. It was impossible to sleep and gets very hot with the window closed. Breakfast was disappointingly minimal also.

The room was clean and our room was a decent size. When we visited it was quite warm and there was not AC, but we opened the window at night and there was a portable fan in the room which was nice. The beer downstairs was great, and we were walking distance to a market, coffee shop, and doner place as well as a 10 minute walk to the main train station. My only complaint would be that it was very loud at night, like there were people screaming/yelling, in the street.

Be warned if you get assigned a room on the street side (vs the courtyard). The rooms run very warm, even when it was quite cold outside so you are forced to open your window to cool down the room and the street outside is incredibly noisy with people and trucks at all hours of the night. Note we are from NYC and are used to sleeping with street noise so this was incredibly loud

The prperty is conveniently located near the Wiesn, Train Station, and fairly walkable to the Marienplatz and Hofbrauhaus. The street Noise was significant and continued most of the Night.

One thing that could affect rating.... I am not a smoker (at all). From time to time I could feel as someone smoked through my only window my room had. Staff was very friendly and restaurant on a ground floor is really great! MK has Own, in house (!) Beer brewery! Also great food! Especially Zwiebelrotsbraten! Something you have to try. Service is also great. Very friendly atmosphere!

Convenient location

Nice hotel and great location. But one thing I took for granted and didn't check was that they don't have air conditioning, just a small fan in the room and I was there when the temperature was 30° so it was very hard to be in the room, and there is a restaurant just outside, so even with the windows cracked there was not much circulation and there's a lot of noise from outside
