Really nice place. Studio cozy feels. Enough room for a big family to spread out and be comfy. The couches in the living room are perfect for lounging and doubles as a bed at night :D
We loved your building. Location was perfect. Love having the ice cream shop and coffee shop on main floor. However we felt that the furniture wasnât very comfortable and we wish that there was walk in showers rather than the tubs they get very slippery!
We enjoyed our stay at the Leonard Building, Apt 305. The place was very clean and conveniently located to Heritage Landing and other attractions we were interested in seeing during our stay. The building is very secure, which was also nice. We all felt the unit could use ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room, as well as exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Aside from that no compliants. We loved the trendy decor.
I've stayed here a few years now and the property is always in like new condition, in a great location.
Quiet, comfortable and well appointed, this is a great value.
This was a nice, spacious apartment that is about 15 minutes from Michiganâs Adventure. The location was surprisingly very quiet. The unit was very nice and clean. The beds were large and relatively comfortable. We also liked that the curtains had thick and thin blinds to block out light for sleeping. The ownerâs communication was good when I had questions. There is also a coffee shop and ice cream parlor on the first floor of the building, which was a nice convenience if we wanted a treat. The towels were very soft and absorbent. I would definitely recommend the unit. It was a lot more room than you would get at a hotel. Since we had so many guests, it was much more economical.
My only recommendations: Perhaps change out the shower heads. The water pressure isnât the best. I would also buy some cheap plastic dinner plates. The ones in the unit were heavy ceramic and with young children I was a little nervous letting them use them. The water can get extremely hot. I didnât look at the water heater, but it seemed to be a lot hotter than the recommended 120°. Our kids didnât have issues, but I can see accidents happening if youâre not expecting the heat. Small suggestions, nothing Earth shattering. I would stay again.
First time to downtown Muskegon, the location is great the view is spectacular and youâre close to everything! Nicole was awesome. Thanks for a great time!
The property was outstanding clean and comfortable the location is outstanding weâll be back! Thank you Nichole for all youâre assistance during our stay.
The Christmas lights in Downtown Muskegon were very nice. We could easily walk to boutiques, breweries and restaurants from The Leonard. The two bedroom apartment was new, clean, spacious, and one of the bedroom suites was nicely separated from the rest of the apartment.
The unit was very clean, comfortable & luxurious.
Muskegon downtown area has stepped up its downtown area. This two bedroom unit had everything we needed & felt like home. We had our designated parking space so we did not have to fight for parking.
The cleaning crew were very attentive & the owner very responsive & concerned about our satisfaction of our stay. I will definitely stay there the next time we are in town! First class all the way.
Oh I forgot to mention the decorâŠ. It was beautiful from the lobby sitting area throughout the hallway & in all the units. There was a mixed up in our reservation so the owner upgraded us to a deluxe unit with our own private balcony overlooking the downtown area it was beautiful. Thereâs also a rooftop community balcony. Itâs gorgeous. It overlooks the shoreline and areas of the downtown District thereâs so much to be said about the Leonard I can go on & on. The only bad thing I can say is I wish the roof top was accessible at least til midnight. I think the doors lock at 8 pm but itâs a beautiful place to stay
Great place for my spouse, daughter, her husband and my 3 granddaughters! Lots of room, beautiful view of the water and restaurants right out the door!
It was great. Everyone had space and it was great to have 2 bathrooms.
We had two family members that were handicap challenged, It was roomy enough for them to not feel cramped.
Two issues with the place one minor(ish) and one concerning.
Lister has two apartments. Picked one and was booked into the other even though pictures and everything in the welcome email still showed the unit I picked.
The other is security of the unit. This is not apartment safe for the occupant. There is no deadbolt that allows the vacation renter to prevent anyone else with the code from getting into the apartment. No security chain or other device for added security. There is a balcony that is very cool but the lock for the door is on the OUTSIDE. Admittedly less likely but someone could Spiderman to the balcony and just come in the apartment.
Loved everything about this property it was exceptional. Did not like having to check out at 10:00 a.m. I would suggest you put a handicap bar in the bathtub.
