The house was lovely, comfortable and well stocked. There is road noise, but that just means you can hop on the freeway to some amazing hikes and be there in 15 minutes. We especially enjoyed Drury-Chaney trail. My teens loved the swimming hole right down the hill where they jumped off rocks and swung on a rope swing.
The house was perfect! Clean, beautiful views, great location between the rivers and hiking trails. The bed in the master was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could need to cook/grill. 10/10 would stay here again!
We had a nice stay at this Vrbo. Great place to get right on the Avenue of the Giants, which is a beautiful drive. The house had what we needed. There is a small grocery store nearby which can give you all the basics. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. On the down side, the road (driveway?) next to the property looks like the local dump. Lots of abandoned cars and junk. The property is a great place for kids to explore nature. But itâs on a hilltop so you need to be able to manage hills if you want to join them! We didnât have the greatest weather so we couldnât use the fire pit like we would have liked to.
River View Home is a great base for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. It's got a well-stocked kitchen and a wonderful spacious bedroom on the main floor. It's by far the most private of the three houses on the property, and Marisa was a pleasure to work with. Just don't wait until you get to Miranda to buy your groceries. And don't be put off by the small number of reviews here -- there are hundreds of glowing reviews elsewhere on the interwebs.
What a beautiful house and spectacular view of the river from the dining room and master. The kitchen was well stocked and we even had fresh eggs to enjoy. The beds were comfortable and the living area was cozy. I would stay again, the location was right on the Avenue of the Giants.
