Set atop the Cretan Sea, Royal Garden Villas, comprising two distinct villas, form a surreal paradise that takes full advantage of its location, offering sweeping views of the sea and the village of Bali. The buildings are clad in a white facade that harmonizes perfectly with the Aegean blue, creating an elegant contrast and providing impressive, unobstructed vistas.


Furnished in stylish touches, the Rose Villa offers a perfect layout to maximize views. Offering quick access to Bali beach, the two-storey villa can accommodate 6 people in beds and up to 7 people if it is necessary.


Indoor layout
Entering the villa from the main entrance on the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, one with a Queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00) and the other one with two single beds (0.80 x 2.00), which can be transformed to be a Queen-size one if required. There is also a bathroom with a hydromassage shower.


Reaching the ground floor through a staircase, there is an open plan area consisting of a living room area with a sofa, satellite 55" HDTV including Netflix, Playstation 4, a dining area and a fully equipped functional kitchen. From the living room area, you have direct access to the pool area which offers exceptional panoramic views of the Cretan sea. The ground floor hosts the master bedroom with a Queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00) and an en-suite bathroom with a hydromassage shower. There is also another bathroom with a shower located on the same floor.


All the bedrooms offer sea views, HDTV, air-condition, closet and access to the outdoor area or the balconies.

The beautifully landscaped outdoor area offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.


More specifically, our outdoor facilities include:
- A 30 sq. m infinity swimming pool with pool alarm system for child safety.
- Fully equipped charcoal barbecue area with a sink
- Dining table for 6 people next to the pool.
- Table tennis

Love it

Never stay at the same place twice, except for this place. Still the same high standards as 3 years ago. Cleaning team came in regularly and all the amenities provided. Bali hadn't changed much, still a pleasant 5min stroll to the restaurants, shop, bakery and beach and a further 10 to the next cove/beach with more restaurants and bars.

A disappointment

This is a beautiful property. My family and I rented Villa Rose for 2 weeks in 2022 and loved it so much that we decided to return in July of 2023. We planned to stay 16 days. On our fifth day we found that our villa had been burglarized. The perpetrator(s) presumably entered with a key, as there was no damage to the villa’s exterior. The thieves entered our locked villa and went straight to the locked safe and broke it open with a crowbar. They stole all of our possessions within: my 2 wedding rings, my husbands wedding ring, 3500Euros and our bank account information. There are no working cameras so no images were captured. We were forced to carry our electronics everywhere we went for fear of the thieves returning. Secondly, the beautiful infinity pool was not usable for 4 or 5 of the 16 days we stayed. The weather outside was in the upper 90’s so we were upset that the pool was unavailable to us for most days. We contacted management several times and the pool was only temporarily fixed. Sadly we will not be returning. Given our negative experiences we will rent elsewhere.

Absolutely Amazing

Myself and 3 friends have just enjoyed an amazing week at Villa Rose. The villa was very clean and met our expectations after seeing the amazing pics on Vrbo. The views are amazing from the pool area. You need to be pretty mobile to manage the hilly footpath down to the resort and also the many steps within the resort, but if this is not a problem then it's fine. Bali itself is a great little resort, with many restaurants and a little tourist train that you can get around on. Any problems we had were quickly sorted by the Etouri team. Would highly recommend this villa and the local area.

Amazing villa

Even though it was early in the season we had a lovely relaxing stay at villa rose. Having read the very few negative comments we were surprised at how much sun we had and certainly didn’t feel overlooked by the road. So don’t let those few comments put you off! Kostas couldn’t have been more welcoming and the villa lived up to the photos and other reviews. It was excellent. Bali was just opening up for the summer so not all restaurants were open but those that were were all good. We found it easier to walk back up to the villa via the road, slightly longer bit less steep! Don’t hesitate to rent this villa… you’ll love it!

The property is really lovely and exactly as described. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return in the future! As pool lovers it would have been nice for the sun to have been on the pool a little longer in the day. We worked around it and spent time at the pool and then headed for the beach!

Had a fantastic holiday at Villa Rose. Everything was as described if not better. The villa had everything we needed and communication with the owner was great. The outdoor space was perfect, kids loved the pool and adults loved the views! We hired a car which I think you need as the route back from the beach and town is very uphill.

Cretan getaway

Wonderful amenities all around! Outdoor area was spectacular. The views are unbelievable especially at dusk. Plenty of room for everyone. Very quiet and secluded. Indoor and outdoor area to include the pool were kept very clean during our 16 day stay. A comfortable distance from the center of the Bali resort area and beaches so that they are easily accessed even by walking but you don't get caught up in the busy tourist season if you don't want to. Lots of things for adults and kids to do in Bali. The wifi did go out one day but it was quickly rectified after a call to Kostas. The one thing I would like to see improve is more reliable communication through texting and Whatsapp. Otherwise, we all had an unbelievable experience to the point where we have already booked for next summer.

Lovely villa well appointed with everything we needed made for a very easy holiday. Nice infinity pool just the right temp & you can enjoy the view. Quiet locality only the occasional sounds of the goat herder in the terraces. Short walk down hill to the old port and many tavernas & bars of Bali.

Fabulous Villa, perfect location and great management

The Rose Villa is exactly as represented on the Vrbo site. It is not only functional and well-managed, but aesthetically pleasing and well designed. It had every amenity we needed, all working appliances and we would definitely highly recommend. The location was also ideal, facing the sea for magnificent sunrises, and located centrally on the island, so the entire island is easily accessible. Driveway is steep…. Recommend you back your car in.

Lovely stay

Beautiful, spacious villa in a really peaceful setting in the hills. My family and I had a great time here. It was so peaceful, at times all you could here were the bells of the nearby herd of sheep! The villa is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The villa manager, Kostas, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Is definitely recommend this villa and we hope to be back some day.

Great villa and location.

Great service from Kostas. Very friendly and communicative. Villa is great. The car hire company recommended is the easiest car hire I have ever used. Location is wonderful but be aware that there is a 20 minute walk uphill back from the beach (we didn’t find this a problem but younger/older may) if you don’t use a car. Great holiday, would highly recommended (One very small concern - dripping water in en-suite bathroom made the floor wet sometimes (at night)).

Great villa in beautiful Bali.

This was our first trip to Crete. We really enjoyed our time in the villa and exploring the island. The villa is well appointed, clean, and spacious. The outdoor area is fantastic and has plenty of seating for all. We loved the little town of Bali. Very friendly shop and restaurant owners who always made us feel welcome. Bali is in a very central location for exploring the rest of the island and we were able to make a day trip to Elafonisi (a must see) and catch the ferry in Heraklion for a day trip to Santorini. I would definitely recommend having a rental car as there's so much to see. The communication with the management company was fantastic and they were helpful in recommending restaurants and other information about the area. We hope to return someday soon.

The perfect escape from 2020

Simply amazing!

What can I say? This property looks good in photos but is even more impressive when you arrive and see that view from the terrace. Without doubt the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. Villa Rose is luxurious living of the highest order, with a breathtaking view, gorgeous pool and amazing support from Etouri. We can’t recommend highly enough and would go back in a heartbeat. The icing on the cake is beautiful Bali, with a warm welcome from all the locals but especially the lovely owner of the property who looked after us all so generously at the fantastic Baboo beach bar. She even gave lifts to the younger members of our group when she spotted them walking down towards the village - a great example of the above and beyond service we enjoyed!

Stunning Villa

Fantastic property fitted to a high standard with great attention to detail. One of the best we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. I note some difficulty with vehicle access, which is pretty normal for villas on hillsides going by previous rentals. Also the road that runs along the side of the Villa does overlook the pool area but after driving this road several times it’s fleeting and seems worse than it is from the Villa (unless you deliberately slow down for a good luck!) plus very little traffic indeed. The hosts etouri were absolutely superb and put many resort hotels to shame in this regard.

Excellent 10 day stay.

Villa Rose is a very pleasant place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a first class well cleaned and maintained Villa. There are of course some negatives: While there is parking for two cars it is not easy to access - we found it best to reverse in past the other two Villas in the complex but this is not straight forward particularly if there is a car parked at the neighbouring Villa. Second is the reality that the Villa is quite a demanding 15 minute uphill walk from Bali. While for us it was not a problem it is not a walk for either young children or the elderly. The final slight irritation is that the pool and terrace are very visible from the road, which while not overly busy is used by tour busses and detracts from any feeling of privacy. We found the property concierge provided by Etouri to be excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and they were as good as their word and were available to provide advice and make bookings all of the time. Taking over the property was not as smooth as we would have liked. The property manager was not available when we phoned from the airport to confirm our arrival time and after dealing with Etouri a lady with very little English met us. The language barrier resulted in us not being given some information which would have been useful. It is important to note that all of these issues are minor. Villa Rose itself is certainly worthy of 5 Stars and the regular cleaning was outstanding, but our 4 Star grading reflects the absence of the property manager and the slight lack of privacy when utilising the outdoor space.

An amazing villa in a fantastic location. The villa was immaculate on arrival and was extremely well maintained and cleaned during our 9 night stay. I can honestly say it is one of the best villas I have stayed in.
