FOREST DUNES is CENTRALLY LOCATED within a 5 minute drive of just about anything you would want to do on the Grand Strand. It is located on the only section of beach that does not allow any buildings to be constructed on the beachfront. Although the resort is located across the street from the beach, there are no buildings between it and the beach.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations 30+ days before arrival: 50% of down payment refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival, forfeit all monies paid unless the condo is rebooked for the same rental dates & rate. If the property is rebooked for the rental dates (partially or fully), a refund will be issued for the rate that we were able to rebook the property for at the last minute, minus a $100 cancellation fee. Within 30 days: refund (partially or fully) only if condo is rebooked.

Hurricane refunds: applies during mandatory evacuation orders given for the area that the property is located in. Refunds will be given on any unused portion of rent from the date the evacuation order is lifted. No refunds will be given outside of the evacuation order dates.

Nice place, good location, good angle view of the Ocean, very clean and well equipped. King bed was as hard as a Pawn Brokers Heart and poor water pressure. If you have long hair you could run out of hot water before done rinsing. Very quiet and loved the keyless entry. Before arrival had to drive to management office to sign credit card payment????

Property was very clean and just as described. I only have two negatives about my stay. 1. When they say bring essentials they mean bring essentials! They provide the very minimum for the price you pay to stay at this unit. No Toilet Paper, no Paper Towels, no Soap, etc. I even had to pay extra for them to put sheets on the bed before our stay and paid 20 extra for towels that resembled some old 1970’s oversized looking dish towels! 2. There are signs everywhere about no smoking and you will receive multiple emails about the penalties for smoking but we constantly experienced the smell of “Weed” throughout the building. I think the State plant in SC may just be marijuana ! On our first night of stay, we had to leave the balcony because we started getting a headache from the contact high received from someone smoking weed above us. The property managers need to do more to police this policy! Besides this, The property is great and the beach is less crowded than the Grand Strand. I would highly recommend booking and hope to stay here again in the future.

Steps from the beach

Tidy, comfy and just a stone’s throw away from the beach… the design and maintenance is good but be prepared to bring your own beach towels and buy basics. Doesn’t feel lived in and that’s a plus, simple with just a touch of kitschy art. The WIFI, air and appliances all worked. I never felt the elevator or pool were too crowded, and there’s a great casual bar and grill next to the pool. No smoking anywhere on the property, the elevator did smell like weed sometimes. The garage is right there, we did come and go a lot as there are not too many spots within walking distance. This was a good value for a long weekend - and we saw dolphins.

WEEK LONG VACATION

We loved the unit. It was very clean and well furnished. The only thing missing was a bath mat at the shower. We had to go purchase one for our use. The complex was great. We loved the pool area. The location was quiet, just what we were looking for our stay. We definitely would stay here again.

this is more less for the owners?? was a great place to stay. Can someone PLEASE leave instructions for the tv and cable in the main room. It doesnt work.. actually something isnt right... TV wont turn on. Can you fix that for future guests. Thanks.

Great beach location, close to all local restaurants! Buckets food and drinks were amazing! Minutes from beautiful Murrells Inlet and Marsh Walk, the beach and the water was amazing! Day and Night!

Good location. Beach access just across the street. Free parking garage. Could use more hand towels since we were there for a week. There are two bathrooms. Also there was no floor mat or towel to stand on when getting out of the shower. The internet worked fine and the tv worked although it's a bit tricky to figure out. The view is nice but we are spoiled by our building in Maui that is 20 feet from the water. The pool and lazy river seemed nice although we didn't use them. No one else really did either. The hot tub got some use by a few guests. We like just having a code for the unit instead of having to keep track of a key. The elevators were fairly quick even though it is a big building. We didn't use the onsite restaurant so no input there. The beach is nice even though the water was rough every day. Probably because it's the ocean and not the gulf. We would stay here again.

Tough to beat!!

Had a great 2 week stay at this condo…..directly across the street from the beach. Condo was perfect for 2 people.. very clean, comfortable King bed, fully equipped. Huge hot tub came in handy , as did the pool after a salty day at the beach. Location was perfect! Ocean Blvd is a well maintained, quiet boulevard with no commercial pubs, restaurants etc…. So very calm/quiet… which we liked. All the golf you want within 15 minute drive as well. Secure parking, laundry in the building and a pub in the building itself make this a 10/10 in our opinion. We will be back!!!!

Loved it!

First of all, the unit was beautifully furnished and decorated. Very roomy. The sliding glass doors to the balcony, as well as the shower doors, all opened smoothly. The bed was quite comfortable and there were a lot of pillows, though we always bring our own from home. The location was great…quiet area, easy beach access, and pretty well centrally located. The only thing I would suggest changing are the bedroom curtains. To me, they let in too much light from outside. Some kind of blackout curtains would be preferable. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would like rent this unit again.

The pictures just don't this condo justice. Opening the door and staring down the long hallway to the living room and large patio doors we were awestruck. Beautifully decorated and up to date. Kitchen fully furnished with anything you need. You won't have to buy ice as the refrigerator has an ice maker. The only thing that was not available was the Keurig coffee maker. Needed to be descaled and management replied promptly to our email. The whole building was clean well maintained and great pools and hot tub. Enjoyed the on site bar/restaurant 'Buckets'. Had a great chat with the young owners and how they made it though Covid. The whole property is smoke free but they have supplied an area behind the parking garage. Will definitely be back.

Golf Tournament Vacation

Husband playing in golf tournament all week. Centrally located so close to courses and convention center for 19th hole. I chose unit for view and feel of home. Was not dissappointed.
