When luxury loses its luster

Our particular unit had a broken coffee maker and a very uncomfortable and squeaky couch. Ceiling fixtures were missing multiple bulbs; one was missing a fixture globe, and another a dimmer switch knob. The kitchen was short on utensils. But the beds were comfortable and the TVs were nice. I expect more from Hilton.

Everything was wonderful except for the gnats. There was a infestation of gnats in the hot tub. Also in the rooms and when I went downstairs to talk to the front desk, the guy that was working there told me that I'm not supposed to have the door open to the balcony. Well, that's why I go to the beach to sit with the door open on the balcony. So I kind of felt like they were blaming me for the bugs. The gentleman at the front desk was not a gentleman.He was actually rude.I have never had that kind of experience at the anderson in my entire stays!!!

I would never stay at this hotel again. The room that I booked was an oceanfront suite and it was terrible. It was an outdated room very old nasty rugs. I asked to change room first they said they had another room then they couldn’t change the room in the system so I had the wait for the next day then the next day they told me that the all hotel rooms were booked. Then they promised me 50% off my stay because of the inconvenience but they lied about that because it not reflecting on my statement. This credit was promise by the manager Marylin. When I called them they keep telling me to contact hotel.com

Some of the nicest staff I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The place is beautifully maintained and classically luxurious. Some of the rooms could use some updating but it was nice nonetheless. We plan on staying here again very soon.

Great location but outdated

The hotel is in a great location and the beach and hot tub are wonderful. The room needs some updating. The shower has popcorn ceiling that are peeling and dropping at any given time. The carpet is smelly and needs to be cleaned. The place needs some TLC.

Its was my German family first time staying at Anderson Ocean Club and Spa. The shower drains were not good at all. And the shower was so loud it woke the whole up every one in the house 9 people and the bathroom capbent needed to be repair other than that our stay was good .
