Myrtle getaway

Property was comfortable, breakfast was excellent with polite and accommodating kitchen staff. Only drawback was that the front desk got our reservation confused after one night of a 3 night reservation and threatened to put our possessions in storage while we were on an excursion outside of cell service. Luckily when we returned to service, I received multiple voicemails and returned the call to get the situation resolved before they emptied our room. Also wanted to use the pool but the water was cloudy, needed servicing.

Overall stay was good. Quiet even during bike week. Front desk staff when we checked in was lovely and pleasant. The morning after not so much and had to wait some time for some to return to the desk.

The first room I looked at was damp and smelly. The room I stayed in was less so however the phone and the TV were not working. The pool looked dirty need I say more? The people working there were well intended but obviously the day staff did not precheck the room.

The hotel was nice. The only bad part of our stay was that the pool wasn't ready for use. We were looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the pool and that didn't happen.
