You get what you pay for. Third stay and by far worst stay at Arcadian. None of the problems that reviewers have told of have been fixed. Smallest queen size bed I have ever slept in. Commodes must be child sized. So small it’s difficult to do both 1 and 2 without peeing in floor. As mentioned by others shower curtain does not come all the way to the floor. Makes a wet mess. Broken chair in master. Both of the last two mentioned by other guests. TV in living room could be larger. I will not be renting 4C again.

Place wasn't clean. Stains on walls- doors. Sand on floors. Had to request vacuum & I cleaned. Furniture in guest room falling apart. Drawers unusable. Kitchen counter tops taped down. Stains on couches. Construction in condo beside us. All day all week. Loud music blarring all day. Residents told us to definitely complain. Accommodation should be made

We rented 3 condos in the same area, and this one was the best! It is beautifully updated and FULLY stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishes. The location is perfect, and the pool is clean! We'd definitely stay there again!

Beautiful 4th Floor Oceanfront Condo

This 3 bed-2bath condo was just as photos and written comments described. We could tell the condo had been recently updated...the bluish-teal walls were so calming and the ocean-themed decor was stylish yet simple. We really appreciated the extra money invested in the patio furniture and cushions as we spent breakfast, break times, and late evenings out there. We enjoyed the wonderfully maintained, quieter atmosphere surrounding the grounds, pool, and beach, and we were steps away from the Wet Whistle bar and grill which served delicious snacks and light meals. The covered parking was a great plus for summer heat and we never waited longer than 3 minutes for the elevator. The only concerns included a strange snoring-gurgling noise heard throughout the day in the Master shower wall (which we reported at check-out) and finding the best thermostat setting to keep the nice wood plank floors dry and safe from excess moisture (and we kept the patio doors closed). We would definitely consider staying at this lovely condo again should we return to the Arcadian Dunes/Shores area. It is a perfect location and very close to Barefoot Landing, restaurants, and grocery stores. Happy Vacation Family from NC, The Kanipes

Took daughter for her graduation present

We took my daughter bc it’s what she wanted as a graduation present. Everything was perfect. We all had a wonderful time. It was very clean. Security was great to talk to. And overall we will stay here again if possible.

Beautiful home but.....

Master bed was an extremely small Queen and too small for us. No cable in second bedroom. :( Rabbit ears were horrible! Paint was caked on the drawers in the kitchen and screamed everytime it was opened. Front door had paint cake on so that it was hard to close. There were many of the hanging vertical blinds missing...We found them broken and in the master closet. (?) Overly warm in the master bedroom day and night. Shower pressure in the bathrooms were not up to par. The master shower head was filthy. Security and owners were very polite and welcoming. Very disappointed that the pool was not heated. ugh!

Large balcony with perfect view!!!

Could not have had a better view of the beach. It was beautiful and with a large balcony. Construction going on all day on the floor above us. Only time we had peace is when they went to lunch. Again you will not find a better view.

Love the area

This is our third time staying at Arcadian & this was the best condo so far. It was updated nicely & most importantly it smelled good with no mildew smell like the others we’ve stayed in. The grounds & pool area is really clean & very nice. Only real negative I saw was the shower curtain in master is too short & floor gets soaked. Floor looks nice so I hope they get a longer curtain so it doesn’t get ruined.

Great location

The check in process was quick once you drove to the rental office. The Arcadian Building II was built in the late 70’s. Some units were updated. This one, however, was not. Nine of the drawers opened easily. The Formica countertops were peeling in the kitchen. The bathroom sink didn’t drain. But the worst part was the musty smell that lingered due to very old carpet on the floor. The view was spectacular and the beach and pool were fantastic. A quick walk on the beach took you took the Wet Whistle outdoor bar which was part of the Westin. Fun vibe. Arcadian II was nice, but will not stay in this unit again.

Rental very dated.

The building itself was in good condition however there is construction on the sea wall that was noisy. Tennis courts are also being redone. The condo has carpet that needs replaced as it looks worn and smelled bad. Bathrooms need updated and kitchen could use new countertops. The view of the ocean from the condo was beautiful, however there was some sort of netting put up on the balcony that was annoying to look thru. Pool and beach areas were nice and there are good restaurants in the area. A few updates to the condo would make this an excellent place to stay.

Quaint but dated

The view was lovely as was the beach, everyone was very nice. Checking in/out with the keys at the property rental place is inconvenient. Developing a code to enter the rental and changing the code with each new guest would simplify this process for both parties . Also due to the directions stating what we need prior to entering the rental unit is misleading. We ended up at the store to pick up toilet paper and dishwashing soap and sponges but when we arrived everything was already there for us, plenty! The unit is quaint but needs upgrades, the carpet is sticky, the island (is falling apart), the tub in the 1 large bedroom has black dirt around it and caulking is needed and is slippery. Adding a grab bar would be an easy fix. The light switches stick and the fan in the 2nd smaller bedroom would turn on but not off, but we got it off and left it off. Just upgrading the light fixtures and out door tables would make a big difference. We did like this cute unit but you may want to get a new cleaning team. Thank you

Wonderful

Although we had a few issues with light switches not always working, the overall functionality of the condo was very efficient. Spent many hours on the balcony just watching the waves and people walking by. As someone who grew up on an island surrounded by the Mediterranean sea, the sound of the waves made me feel like I was home.

The only thing worth the price are the views!

I have stayed at multiple VRBO properties and this is the first one that was not as advertised. The only positives: - views -pool - condo grounds/parking/security/location. Cons: -condo is dated and dirty. Carpet is old and sticky. Both bathrooms need new grout and shower heads esp. the master. -kitchen is old, cabinets barely shut, old appliances (toaster, coffee pot), provide 1 kitchen towel for 7 day stay, trash can lid broken. -no extra sheets, no tissues, hand bar for bathroom soap -patio furniture is rusting and peeling. -check in/out 20 mins away. No keyless entry. Disappointed is an understatement. Won’t be staying at this condo again but loved Arcadian II and it’s amenities.
