It is what it says it is: a studio flat â think hotel room with a refrigerator â so the price-for-value was good. It was clean, but honestly the furnishings look worn and low-end. The drapes don't fully cover the window or the sliding glass door, and the rod is poorly installed, so closing them feels a little sketchy. The kitchenette is functional, though I'm not sure why it's stocked with pots and pans when there's no cooking surface. The "closet" was two hangers on a wall sconce.
The host was very responsive and clearly committed to making our stay the best it could be. My honest impression, though, is that the property is beat down and worn out â it needs to be redone to match its intent. Keep the microwave, the refrigerator, and the toaster oven. Lose the pots and pans. Add a hanging storage space, upgrade the towels, linens, and drapes, then raise the rate, and you've got a home run.
The location is ideal. One small note: the door locks were stiff and a little complicated to work.
