Heather at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Had great local suggestions which is always a plus. The breakfast was great as well. The hotel was very clean and fun for the kids. The bunk beds were a major hit.

Although this hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown Mystic, it offers good amenities, large rooms, and plenty of seafaring charm! The hotel is clean and has random artifacts from the town’s maritime history. The rooms are very large, and have a large desk and seating so you don’t feel confined to a small bed. The indoor pool was large and clean but the water temperature was still on the cold side (65-70 degrees). The gym was basic but clean and good for a simple workout. The only negative was the noise from the hallway, so be aware you can hear voices and door closing if you are a light sleeper. But overall this was a great experience and good value for the price!

Hotel was well decorated. Room was nice looking. Overall quiet stay. Disappointed the room didn't have trash bags in the trash barrels. One of the 2 glasses provided was dirty. No toothpaste and toothbrushes, had to go to front desk to ask. No combs. Had to buy one for $3, priced at $5 normally. No box of tissues in the bedroom area. Conditioner was not filled. My husband showered first and made me aware there was no conditioner. He called the front desk. Heather said she would make housekeeping aware and someone would be right up.I waited 20 minutes before taking a shower. My husband spoke with a male housekeeper in the hall , who brought conditioner back within 10 min. After my shower a female housekeeper came with the conditioner. So I would have waited around 40-45 min to take a shower! For a pricey night stay and such a beautiful hotel, I was expecting a bit more.

Did not eat breakfast at the property. The room was quite and clean all staff were very pleasant and helpful except an Irish lady who was very negative and unhelpful. Guests are away from home and want to relax and have a pleasant time instead of dealing with negativity. We arrived at the front and I was asking the nice lady about check out time , which the unpleasant lady dropped into the conversation and provided information in a very unpleasant and unwelcoming manner. We got to the room called down for an item from housekeeping which she took the call and was unpleasant and abrupt again and never received the item. Around 10 pm the evening shift fellow was very pleasant and took care of the issue. The next morning the unpleasant lady proceeded to tell me that my credit card declined which was her error and never took responsibility for not getting the request done the day before with housekeeping. She should not be at the front dealing with guests. Our stay was Saturday Nov01, departed Nov 02. Thank you
