Check in shut down at 7:00pm. Since I arrived at 8:30pm, I couldn't get in. They are supposed to allow check-in until midnight. Stopped by the next morning - no apology from them, no concern on what accommodations I had to make. And it's a huge hassle to get a refund. Still not there. Bottom line - avoid this place.
The cabin is cute, rustic but clean. The bathroom however is a short walk away. It came as a surprise to me that there is no bathroom in the cabin. It is a community bathroom a short walk down the road. I think they keep it as clean as they can but it stinks and you're going to want shower shoes. Very nice friendly people, quiet in spite of the fact it's right off the highway. Convenient with a store and restaurant within a stones toss.
Cabin with two bunks was adequate for our short stay. Convenience to the store and restaurant was nice; food and staff were great. Drawbacks are that the bathrooms (2) arenât in your cabin, you need to walk down a few yards for access and if being used you have to wait your turn. Another drawback is walls are thin; you can hear conversations from the adjoining cabin. Probably wonât book here again but not a bad set-up and appreciated prompt responses from management.
There are no bathrooms or running water in the rooms, they are in a separate location. The wifi doesn't reach the rooms, and there is no Air Conditioning.
Since the listing says there is wifi and AC, this was a shock. It was very hot and not a great time.
It was okay staff was very friendly. Room was pretty clean. Bath rooms are shared and there all only two bathrooms probably waited 45minutes to use the bathroom. Also was told the rooms were equipped with air conditioning and there was non present. Fridge hardly works room came with Keurig cups but no Keurig for coffee. Beds could use some updating. At the end of the day my day was good if I stay there again, I will just be more prepared. Everyone was very friendly. I just think the description was a little misleading.
The cabin was incredibly tiny and shared a paper thin wall with the adjoining cabin. There was no sunk or toilet in the cabin. You had to walk outside and around to another building. The bathroom was dirty. Parking was extremely limited.
The table in the cabin was sticky. The matresses were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on, felt every spring.
Communication with the property manager was very difficult.
Communication was excellent with Eagle Rock Resort, they made sure I had all that I needed for the check-in process. I was there for a solo hunting trip and some of the locals even pointed me in the direction of where all the elk were hiding! Greatly appreciated! The WoodShed restaurant had very good quality dining options also. Would definitely stay at Eagle Rock Resort again
Nice little cabins to stay in with comfy beds and warm blankets, there were towels and water bottles on the table when we walked in along with board games and books among other things, check in was at the store on the property, employees were very friendly.
The pictures are deceptive. The cabins are icy smaller and older than they look. The location felt unsafe. Wasnât at all what we thought. Bathrooms were old and moldy and gross. Was way further out from Rainier than I was told when I called to ask. I asked for discount due to all this and was charged full price.
Given the price, I was very pleased. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and nicely rustic. I knew the bathrooms would be a very short walk away, but still not my favorite since I'm old and get up multiple times each night. Again, I knew this and accepted this.
There are "permanent" guests who's properties are pretty cluttered, like a trailer park. Not a big deal. Just nit-picking. The bathrooms were OK. Way too hot, but fairly clean and functional.
Back to the good: The inside of the cabin is really nice. We slept great and enjoyed our time. Restaurant next door was also quite good.
Cute queen bed comfortable cabin. We were very happy with the cleanliness and staff. Only thing we didnt care for is the one key for cabin and one key for bathroom.
