Overall it is really an excellent hotel. Many of the rooms should be updated, but still they are adequate and spacious. The breakfast area can be busy, but there is a large adjacent room with plenty of space. The hotel staff were great. The onsen has a spacious indoor bath and plenty of washing areas. The outdoor bath is very pleasant, just be careful walking on the stone surfaces. The staff takes good care of the onsen and sauna. The location is good. You can walk to Nagahama JR station and the old town area is just beyond. The lake and the large beautiful next door park and castle is good for walking. There are not many restaurants open at night in central Nagahama, but you can probably find something.

今回は２度目の宿泊で出張で伺いました。 お部屋は琵琶湖側の客室ではありませんでしたが、窓からは長浜城が望め、夜のライトアップされた姿は、とてもきれいでした。 お部屋は隅々まで清掃が行き届いており、設備には多少の年季を感じるものの、何不自由なく快適に過ごせました。朝食は品数が非常に豊富で、どれも美味しく、琵琶湖を一望しながらいただく時間は格別です。また、スタッフの方々の対応がとても温かく、終始気持ちのよい滞在となりました。

駅や長浜城のアクセスが良かったです。夜のチェックインでしたが、夕食後のラウンジでアルコールも含めたドリンクの提供がありました。また、入浴後も飲み物の提供があり、有り難かったです。一番はライブキッチンのあるビュッフェでした。種類や品数、目の前で温かいものをいただくことが出来て、大満足でした。また、利用したいです。
