RELAXING

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay, the house has a great layout and location. Very quiet neighborhood. The A/C kept up with the 90/100 degree weather, very comfortable. The outdoor shower was great. The fenced in back yard is great for dogs and small children. We will be coming back!

Tuna Trip

Place needs work. When we arrived, the drain for the hallway shower was clogged, so some of the guests had to use the outside shower. I noticed some repair work was done in the right-hand side master bathroom, but not finished. The vanity was replaced with a smaller unit, but the wall and floor were not finished to the new fixture neither was the new towel rack the old holes in the wall were rough spackled, but not finished or painted. There is a large crack in the wall above the doorway where the doorway frame has dropped. This room is on the second floor. We had a strong rainstorm that Wednesday and I heard water dripping from the ceiling and landing on the bed. The pillow was soaked and that corner of the bed. We moved it away from the wall, so half of the bed would stay dry enough to sleep on. earlier on Tuesday we noticed that the Upper AC unit was not working. The main living area was getting uncomfortably warm and stayed that way the rest of our stay. I called Sea and sand and they sent out men to inspect the issues we had and installed a small window ac unit on the 3rd floor, but it was not up to the task of cooling down that space. Iwas informed that the ceiling unit was shot and needs to be replaced by the owner.I also pointed out other things that were anoying. the counter top for the kitchen island was very sticky.We washed several times to no avail.I believe the wrong coating was used. I also pointed out water stains on the 3rd floor ceiling.

Great place

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The many decks and ample space were particularly nice. The house was very clean in a quiet neighborhood with quick beach access. Perfect week!

House across the road from ocean

We had to cross the road to make the short walk to the beach. Unfortunately, much of the beach in the area of the house had been eroded by the recent storms., which is obviously not controllable by the house owner. The fenced yard was great for the dog to get exercise without having to be walked. The back room on the upper floor was a comfortable place for the 22 month and 5-year-old to watch TV. The dining table sat all 8 of us comfortably.

Beach Vacation

This property worked out very well for us for our Nags Head vacation. The biggest plus was that it is within walking distance to the beach. That came in very handy while toting two wagons of equipment and 4 kids. The equipment rental credit was a nice touch too! The views from the front and back deck were nice. Those who had to get up early got to see the sunrise from the back deck. The location turned out to be a big plus in other ways. Being in the southern part of Nags Head, it was far enough away from the main drag to be very peaceful. When we went out to do something (mini-golf, ice cream, Christmas store, Kitty Hawk) it wasn’t that far of a drive. The aquarium saved us on our rainy day. If we ever returned to this area, we would rent this property again.

Adult Family of 7

Spacious top floor living area with afternoon shade on top deck facing ocean view are nice attributes, as well as back deck for sunset views. All beds were comfortable, AC worked fine as well as all appliances. Location near Cape Hatteras National Seashore a big plus, because dogs are allowed on the beach all day on a leash. Erosion much less on that beach than within the residential beach. In summary, very pleased with this nice beach house for all these reasons and more.

Wonderful!

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The location was perfect to the beach, stores, restaurants, and other attractions. The short walk to the beach was ideal. The top floor has spectacular views of the water on both sides. The outdoor deck space was also very enjoyable on warm days. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. One suggestion is for there to be a slightly larger starter kit of supplies when you arrive. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would stay again!

Beach trip 2023

The beach house was great and very clean. We were not able to checkin by 5 but we were notified a little in advance. We were able to bring groceries to the house while they were still cleaning. The fenced in yard needed some maintenance to keep a small dog from escaping. Especially loved the decks, the open concept living area, and the outdoor shower. Having a credit towards beach gear was great and the beach is so close. A very short walk!!!
