My new favourite hotel in Nairobi

What a great hotel. The rooms are big, bright and comfortable. The service is friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The service is friendly and efficient. And it's excellent value! This is my new favourite hotel in Nairobi. The gym deserves a special mention. It has a wide range of machines and free weights and expert trainers. It has outside members, so everything is well maintained.

Here's a concise breakdown: Hotel: Excellent. Staff are great and helpful. Food is good and fresh. Your room is decent and cleaned daily including fresh towels. The gym is well stocked including a punching bag. Also, there is a staff member always ready to help you with activities such as safaris or visits to the Giraffe Center. The area: Central but less desirable. The street is very dirty and not lamplit at night. There are a few casinos within walking distance but returning home with your winnings might make you feel a bit like a target. That being said, I haven't had a single problem once. Just don't expect to take a nice neighborhood stroll. All told, great hotel with great value for money. Just accept that virtually every time you leave the hotel a taxi is required.

We had 2 unexpected nights in Nairobi and chose this hotel due the proximity of visiting things of interest. There is a shopping mall close by with options for lunch and dinner. The hotel had a great selection for breakfast and very good room service dinner, excellent gym and the rooftop bar and pool was nice to have, you cant lie out in the sun though.
