Not What We ExpectedWe booked this condo based on strong recommendations from friends and the beautiful view shown in the photos. While the view truly is spectacular, there were several things that weren’t visible online that made the unit a poor fit for us.The condo is part of an older two-story building, and the exterior has multiple mismatched window A/C units and a stone stairway that feels very dated. When we arrived, the interior felt hot and stuffy. We turned on the A/C but when we returned hours later—and even the next morning—the unit still wasn’t cool. With the warm weather, working A/C was essential.The windows facing the ocean also appeared foggy or had condensation, which made the beautiful view less clear. The second bedroom opens directly onto the main floor, which wasn’t ideal for our family. In addition, the condo sits right on a busy road with only about 15 feet and some shrubs separating the front door from traffic. For our first trip to Hawaii in over 10 years, I wanted a place that felt special and safe, and the proximity to the street made me uncomfortable, especially at night.Inside, the kitchen was nicely updated, but some of the bathrooms definitely need refreshing. View and pool were great. However we did have some issues. Upstairs bathroom had vise grips to turn on shower, lighting in upstairs bathroom was terrible, They came the next day to fix the shower as was promised. There was shortage of hangers, no blender, potholders, kitchen sink stopper. They did stop by with those items the same day after I texted the property management. However, it did take time out of our vacation day to get this stuff taken care of, which was unacceptable. Also, the lighting in the family room was very poor and the floor lamps in there were broken and about to fall over. Lighting was so poor. It was hard to play games at the kitchen table because it was so dark. The furniture was kind of old and tired. It could use some sprucing up.

Excellent stay- better than advertised

Wonderful condo overlooking bay where you can snorkel with turtles and short walking distance to fabulous beach for families. Second visit to this condo comples in 9 years because our seniors in high school twin girls wanted to come here again. Besides view, mattresses on beds were fantastic being somewhat firm but also soft. Also, have outdoor sunscreen to help with late afternoon sun on outdoor balcony which was a plus.

Beautiful view. Upstairs very musty A/C leaking down the wall onto carpet.Downstairs bed Very Uncomfortable dips in the middle of mattress. Also A/C running down the walls dripping on the floor. Unit was not that clean. Dryer blows into the entry lint all over even after we cleaned the vent.

Unit is very nice. Carpet and bedroom furniture dated, but overall very nice. Location Great. Price reasonable. AC had issues but it was taken care of after 4 days. Compensated with late check out which was very nice. Unfortunately even after late late check out was arranged we were locked out of unit mid-day. Was able to resolve within 45 minutes but was still stressful as all of our belongings, including cell phone were still in unit.Would reccommend and would absolutelly return! Mahalo

Oceanview Loft Napili Point has ALOHA!

Nice outdoor furniture that capitalizes from great oceanview. We saw turtles in cove and distant whales from the balcony. Patio door, no longer obscured drom scale on our stay. Two king beds, one in each bedroom area. Matresses were comfortable. Please be advised that lofted bedroom is only 'closed off' by thin drapery. The loft is spacious with its own bathroom but not entirely encloseed or completely private.Clean. Serveal pots and pans, pitchers, rice cooker, and electric kettle. 3 beach chairs, ice chest, and beach towels. Stack set washer and dryer. Great communication with management company; easy check in process. Quiet complex, easy parking. Plese note that at next door resort there is small family owned beach rental company that rents, SUP and surf boards, underwater cameras, and other beach equipment. Bonus tip: The Waterworks beach rentals store also sell shave ice! All within easy walking distance to this condo.

Great Stay at Napili Point

This condo was just as advertised. It was in a great part of napili, walkable to several bays. The condo had a great view and was quiet. The downstairs bedroom was a decent size and had its own vanity and bathroom. The upstairs loft was actually nicer than i thought it would be. Both king beds were very comfortable with clean linens. The kitchen was well stocked and we actually cooked in a few time for dinner and breakfast. You can literallyl walk right next door to the Gazebo restaurant for breakfast. They also provided 4 chairs and an rolling ice chest which was really nice. A 3 minute drive to the Napili market, Boss Frogs, etc. made this even better. There was really not a big reason for us to leave this side of the island. A 10 minute drive to Kanapalli Beach, 15 to Lahaina, 45 min to the airport in no traffic. The Host was also very communicative and responsive. Terrific and would love to return! Thank you!

Be Smart Find Another

We read a couple of reviews that indicated that the glass door was obscure due to sea salt and needed maintenance or replacement. Management responded and said they were taking care of the problem, so we rented this place. When we arrived the glass was badly obscured and ruined 50% of the view to the bay (which is the ONLY good thing about unit). We tried several times over 4 days to reach management to relocate to another unit, they NEVER responded. Spoke with one management personal and she said the would give a partial refund if they couldn't find another unit. Never happened and never called back, so we chased them for 3 more days. We have rentals ourselves and this unit suffers from years of deferred maintenance. refrigerator makes so much humming noise you can hear it at night; dishwasher does not work properly and does not release the soap. Showers have mold and need caulking. I am sure the HVAC systems are not serviced so probably full of mold. My wife is sensitive to mold and had issues with her hands during our stay. The shower upstairs was a slow drain and clogged which they finally came to clear on the 4th day. When we arrived there was hair left in the upstairs showers, my daughter had to clean it since they never responded with a cleaning crew as they promised. I think the philosophy is they just hand you a sanitizing wipe like they do on the plane and you're on your own. Two beach chairs were broken, the beach umbrella fell apart, the list is long. Stay away!

NAPILI POINT CONDO

Everything was fine for the most part. The towel fixture in the upstairs bathroom is coming out of the wall on the right side and the upstairs bathroom sink cold water handle is loose and spins around. Needs to be tightened. Also on the last day there both the upstairs and downstairs smoke alarms started chirp due to low batteries early AM. The downstairs one did start to sound off later that morning which was a little unnerving. There was no smoke. Other than that we had an enjoyable time.

Review

Was a very nice, clean unit with beautiful views & nice furniture. Only negatives were an obscured view as the door glass in the unit was bad but an easy fix. The pools are not heated unfortunately. Would definitely stay here again if available.

Condo in Napili

Beautiful location with great view and walking/hiking trails close by. Condo was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Living room sofa, chair and decorative pillows could be cleaned. Nice breezes and the fans and ACs kept the condo cool and comfortable. Tinted film on the slider was peeling off and view was comprised as a result. Beds were comfy.

Pros easily outweigh the cons

This vacation rental was wonderful, and we would definitely stay here again. Pros: LOCATION: Close enough to Lahaina and Black Rock beach, but enough removed that you're not in the thick of the huge resort-city to the south. Also, the nearby restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store and farmers market were a huge perk. Happy hour next door is AMAZING, so just do it. SNORKELING: We went snorkeling every day at different locations. In the end, the bay that you access right from the resort property was by far the best. So many sea turtles, plus we saw an eel, octopus and many, many fish. The only catch is that getting in/out can be tricky if there are oceans swells, as there was the majority of our stay. We did not allow our kids to come with us to snorkel in that bay, and I did not see any children attempt it while we were there. LAYOUT: We loved that the second bathroom and kids bedroom were located at the front of the rental, giving my husband and I privacy in the evenings in our loft bedroom at the back. CLIMATE CONTROL: I am not a hot/humid weather person. A/C was a must. Between the A/C and the sun screens (so smart!) our unit stayed very comfortable. VIEW: Ocean view looking over well kept grounds. We enjoyed watching the rogue chickens, sea turtles, and a random cat from our balcony. Grounds were quiet at night. Even enjoyed watching a meteor shower from the balcony during the nights we were there. KITCHEN: Was well stocked... even had a blender to make smoothies. SLEEP: Quiet and comfortable. Nothing kills a vacation like not sleeping well. Both my husband and I found the king bed extremely comfortable, and our kids also had no complaints. CONS: The furniture does have some stains and seems worn. They could use an upgrade to take the unit to a higher level. Also, the chairs on the balcony were definitely worn from the weather. I was concerned they might give out. The kids couldn't get the volume on their t.v. to work. The water tastes pretty bad from the faucet - the water purifier made a huge difference, but the filter needed to be replaced. Although the kids' section is separate, all of the doors are plantation louver style (meaning they are not solid, but slatted). As a result, ANY minimal noise we made in the mornings inevitable woke up our kids. OVERALL: We found this rental to be just about perfect for our needs, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we ever return to Maui. Mahalo!!!
