Common amenities were good. Condition of property was fair. One slider door to lanai had a broken lock and a piece of wood was used to substitute for a lock. Furnishings were tired, carpeting had some stains and one of the bedroom televisions did not work. Beds were comfortable and master community, Lely Resort, were excellent.
We all thought it was the outdoors, but the more we researched- 2 family members NOT getting bites! Those who slept in the front room, DID get bites! We were quite disappointed. I don't feel it was a VRBO thing, because we have been very satisfied with this company. I do feel it was VACASA and the cleaning crew of Green Links. I did ask for additional pillowcases and never received. My skin is still crawling as I type this upsetting review.
We have stayed at Greenlinks at Lely multiple times. This is the first time we have booked through VRBO; we did so to access a better rate. This is a conveniently located property. The unit was very clean, we held back one star due to staining on the carpet in the main room. The host Vacasa had great customer service. We had an issue finding the pool access card (btw, you need this for the tennis/pickleball courts as well), it was supposed to be in the kitchen. The customer service line assisted us in finding in based on noted in their system. Lol, it was hidden in a cabinet over the refrigerator. I would definitely recommend this property, host and VRBO.
We were without lights or power in the main bedroom for 4 days. 2 emails were sent to which there was no response for 2 weeks. The problem was sorted out but only because I , with the help of the Green Links ( at Lely Resort) manager, managed by an incredibly stressful route got a response. Iâm not impressed with customer service and feel compensation is in order as we did not have a fully functioning condor for 4 days.
The property was great. Villa was very well equipped. Area is beautiful. Very walkable. Great eating and golfing place within walking distance. Would book again.
