Rural house located in the village of Ornaisons surrounded by vineyards and pine forests. The cottage is in a former sweeping dating from 1835 adjoining the owner's house and on a plot of over 3000 m2. On the ground floor, a well open-plan kitchen living room with a typical Languedoc fireplace. A French window gives access to a private garden of around 200 m2 with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. On the 1st floor, on the landing an independent WC, a bedroom with double bed and shower room. On the 2nd floor, a bedroom with double bed (possibility of an additional single bed) and a bathroom and separate wc. In the village, small local shops and numerous cellars of Corbières appellation wines. 10 minutes from Fontfroide Abbey, 20 minutes from Narbonne, 35 minutes from the beach and the City of Carcassonne, 15 minutes from the Canal du Midi, you will be ideally located for visiting our beautiful department and the wild and magnificent landscapes of our Corbières.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Famille Fabre Vigneron. You'll find features such as laundry facilities. A kitchen and 2 bathrooms are available in the cottage.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Enough space for a family of 5. Property located on D road through Ornaisons. Parking just off property, easy to access. Good location to get to both beach and Carcassonne. 10 mins to nearest supermarket. Nice outdoor eating space. Beautiful pine forest behind property.

Beautiful character house with lovely grounds to enjoy in a little village close to Narbonne. Great location for visiting caves and chateaux for degustation, and seeing sights in Narbonne, Carcassonne, Agde and Grussan.

Nice period property and in good location to explore the area from Toulouse to Narbonne & Perpignan.

Part of old farming property but charmingly kept many of the old building features. Owners very accommodating when our travel plans changed. Good experience all-round.

Perfect gîte

Everything about this property is perfect. Beautiful situation with garden and patio, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms and great bathrooms. Ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of France. Marc and his partner were most welcoming hosts and we would love to return.

Relaxing in the south of France

Communication with property manager had some problems because of the Home Away app, which did not work well and prevented communication. The owner, who lives on the property was very gracious, friendly and helpful. The apartment is quite rustic. Location is quiet, close to the town center, which has a great bakery. I biked in for croissants in the morning. Great loction to tour this part of France.

Lovely unique house with a charming garden, and well-stocked kitchen. Within 30 mins drive of lots of really interesting and beautiful places.: Minerve, Lagrasse, Gruissan, Fontfroide Abbey.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house has been very tastefully renovated and provided an ideal base for touring the area. The attention to detail in the house is really noticeable, all has obviously been well thought out and every item adds to the appeal. We will come again.

Gros coup de coeur: belle maison entouré d'arbres, petit jardin intime de caractère, intérieur bien aménagé et équipé. Les propriétaires sont attentifs et respectueux, on a adoré. Merci à eux!Ornaisons est un petit village plutôt joli, avec un riche terroire - les propriétaires, eux-mêmes producteurs, pourrons vous deux trois adresses où se procurer fruits et légumes en vente directe. A 30mn des plages de Narbonne et Gruissan, on se rapproche d'autres destinations qui valent bien une escapade d'un jour, comme Carcassone, Lagrasse ou Minerve.

Schönes Haus mit französischen Stil

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt in dem Haus. Die Küche war mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Terrasse vor dem Haus ist sehr schön und es gab fast immer ein Platz mit natürlichen Schatten. Ein kleiner Nachteil war, dass die Straße doch mehr befahren war als wir erwartet hatten.

wir haben hier zehn wunderschöne Tage verbracht! Wichtig ist jedoch zu beachten, dass der Ort etwas abgelegen ist. Bis zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit sind es mindestens 5 km, für größere Geschäfte muss man 8 km fahren. zu empfehlen ist hier die Bäckerei und der Laden in Bezinet. Marc und seine Frau sind sehr nett! Zu empfehlen ist auch der Kontakt zu den beiden wunderschönen Katzen.

Juste dérangés par une route un peu passante. Belle bâtisse qui nous fait remonter le temps. Une compagnie unique : celle des poules qui pondent des oeufs que mon petit fils de 4 ans a ramenés sans crier gare ! Marc très accueillant !Nous étions comme chez nous.

Entspannung zwischen Wein Kanal und Meer

Meine Frau und ich haben hier 10 entspannte Tage verbracht und sind wunderschön geradelt. Das Haus ist geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet, auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Der Garten mit Hühnern und Katzen ist sicher auch für junge Familien eine Fundgrube. Bei Florence und Marc haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Und übrigens: seine Mandeln schmecken unübertroffen, haben uns direkt 2 Kilo für den Winter mitgenommen

Bien situé pour visiter les environs (canal du midi château Cathares Narbonne Abbaye...) Dans la cuisine tous les utensils sont neufs les casseroles et les poêles n'accrochent pas. De l'éplucheur à la fourchette à bulot rien ne nous a manqué. Marc nous a bien conseillé pour les visites et merci à Marc et Laurence pour le café.

Wunderbar!

Wir haben mit 2 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern vier Tage in Ornaisons verbracht und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus und die Vermieter sind wunderbar - alles so wir in der Beschreibung und auf den Bildern - vielleicht sogar noch schöner :-)! Es ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für unterschiedliche Ausflüge - diese sind von den Vermietern schon sehr gut zusammengefasst - einfach in die Mappe sehen und auswählen. Wir kommen gerne wieder - liebe Grüße an Marc und Laurence

Wunderschön

Marc und Laurence sind tolle Gastgeber*innen, das alte Haus, die Räume, die Einrichtung und der Garten wunderschön. Ein Platz zum entspannen und wohlfühlen. Wir haben den Urlaub dort sehr genossen, auch die Umgebung zwischen Narbonne und Carcassonne ist wunderbar.

Sehr schönes altes Bauernhaus, liebevoll und authentisch restauriert mit schönen Details. Küche, Bad usw. sind mit allem ausreichend ausgestattet, was man braucht, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
