The Neighborhood:
Mount Canobolas is an extinct volcano and is 1395m above sea level. It is the highest peak between the Blue Mountains and the Indian Ocean. Mount Canobolas State conservation area is full of beautiful bird watching, walking tracks, picnic areas, BBQ facilities and the summit provides a breath-taking 360 degree view of Orange and surrounding areas. Nearby Lake Canobolas Reserve provides a relaxing space on shore, take a refreshing swim or enjoy the walk around the lake. Refreshments are available from the Lakehouse Kiosk (please check online if it's open or ring ahead).
Getting Around:
Bendalong is a 10min drive to Orange CBD.
Orange Taxi Service and Uber are also available to use.
