Timber Ridge is a 600 sf cozy cabin apartment, 2 miles from the Natchez Trace and 6 miles southwest of Franklin Business district (Cool Springs), historic Franklin, and Battle of Franklin sites in a beautiful hillside, wooded setting. Built as a vacation rental with total privacy in mind for the guest, the owners live upstairs and have separate entrances for the guest - there is no “common area”. The guest enters through the red door on the side, see the pictures! Only 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and all of its attractions. This getaway on 9 acres of wooded hills sits in a Gatlinburg-like setting. Beautiful stone wood burning fireplace with 50 inch smart HD television make the nights very cozy in this ideal setting. Giga-speed fiber internet and YouTube TV with over 100 channels are both included. In the middle of a famous biking, hiking and scenic drive area year-round.

Country kitchenette, which includes stainless steel dishwasher, portable cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator, can be used for breakfast/meals. Outdoor patio includes hot tub, grill and Adirondack chairs.

Our property has a Ring doorbell camera on the front of the structure for safety. Guest privacy is always respected.

Really great place! We may stay there again and bring some family at a later date. Great place for the price. The view cannot be matched and you’re not far from anything in Franklin, Tennessee. The hot tub was ready for use and clean, so bring a bathing suite. Plenty of hot water for showers and fast and reliable internet. You feel like it is just you and the woods around you. There is a cute neighborhood just six minutes away with small shops and plenty of restaurants. It is actually much bigger than the photos portray. Overall, a great place for a weekend getaway to escape from it all.

We had a wonderful time at the Timber Ridge Cabin. The place was beautiful and the furniture was comfortable. It was so peaceful to look out at the wooded hills sitting inside with a cup of tea or outside in the hot tub. We plan to stay here again!

This cabin is located in a great spot! Far enough away from things that it’s quiet, but close enough to things that it’s convenient. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The hot tub is a major plus, especially when it’s freezing outside. We enjoyed our stay and everything was as expected.

The identification of it being a cabin is misleading. It is actually a small apartment. The hot tub was only partially operational- however the Al the owner did email and asked when I was checking out because the new hot tub was coming in. The dishwasher tablets were so old the stuck and didn’t clean the dishes and no stove but grill worked fine. A broom wasn’t available to sweep the floor and the bed linen had stains on it when I turned the covers over. It would have been nice to have aluminum foil for grill.

This is a great little place to stay and very easy to get to nearby Franklin and other historic sites. Very clean and well kept. Small things that need attention are the hot tub operation and area, the outdoor grill, the fireplace and firewood quality. The laundry is only available upon request and apparently is shared with the owner. We enjoyed our visit and if we return to the area will definitely be looking it up. Love this place.

Nice retreat away from the city bustle

This is a 20-min drive from Franklin, but worth the scenery and just perfect for my taste. Simple cozy yet elegant, with everything needed for a getaway. Privacy was unmatched. I was not there during the day, but evenings were quiet. Outside you can hear a hum of passing cars on Hwy96, but nothing heard from inside. Even occasional thump/thud muted from upstairs, there were zero sleep interruptions, and I truly felt like I had the whole place to myself. I will definitely book this place again, and on the same grounds, the carriage house looks nice too!

Such a peaceful location!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was the perfect mix of close enough to everything to travel, and far enough from everything to fully relax. The view from the hot tub was everything, out in the woods, with nothing to see but the trees you really felt like you could just unwind. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, our one year old and I.
