3 1/2 room holiday flat 60 m2 on the first floor in a house with 5 flats built in cosy Valais style. The flat has room for 5 people. The flat is in very good condition and comfortably furnished. One bedroom has a double bed, the other room has a single bed and a bunk bed. The living room is equipped with SAT-TV, radio, chemineé with a cosy sitting area and a table for 6 persons. The living room is open to the kitchen. Surroundings: Our flat is at the entrance of the village, the car park is directly in front of the house. The village centre, shop, post office and cable car are approx. 300 m away. Between the house and the road leading to Blatten there is a small stream which the children love to play in. Blatten is very child-friendly. Children's playground, miniature golf course, tennis court are in the village. Leisure activities: Hiking in summer in the beautiful Aletsch area (UNESCO World Heritage Site), various 4000 metre peaks in the immediate vicinity. Mountaineering school on site, climbing, canyoning. Beautiful barbecue areas in the neighbourhood. Swimming pools in Brig and Naters 8km Brigerbad 12 km (thermal baths) Winter: From Blatten the cable car leads up to Belalp. 60 km of ski pistes of all levels of difficulty from 2000 m to 3100 m above sea level. In addition a new 6-seater chairlift from winter 06/07. 7 km toboggan run from Belalp to Blatten. Very good ski and snowboard school on the Belalp. Cross-country ski trail approx. 3 km on the Belalp. In the summer season free passenger transport by post bus from Blatten to Brig.
