We had a fantastic stay at Windmill Naxos. Georgios is a wonderful host, he gave us a map and directions for walking to various places in town. He made us coffee in the morning and helped us to use the free laundry services. A gem of a place for a great price!

Better than the photos show

Actually this is a very nice little hotel, well maintained, comfortable and clean. Not a beach property, of course, but still close enough to walk to a very nice beach. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom has things to be improved, as most properties of that class on the Greek islands. But in terms of cleanliness everything was perfect, so I'm really glad with my choice.

We have stayed for one night, the stuff was really polite and friendly with us and offered us a place to leave our luggage for the day after. The location is perfect, it has a nice beach near the hotel.

Quite a nice spot. George picked me up at the beginning and dropped me off at the end.. lovely room with shower, tv, fridge, and ac. Short walk to both the beach and town. I highly recommend. Oh and if you need to throw something in the wash… it’s right downstairs.

Will definite stay here again

We stayed 3 nights and like the place very much. Firstly George is helpful, friendly and cheerful. The place is clean and in a great location within walking distance is the beach, super market, bakery, cafes and even the port ! The 2 bus stops are also within reach.

Windmill Naxos was a great place to stay! It’s close to the beach and bus stations to go anywhere else on the island. George is absolutely the nicest! He picked us up from the port and had great tips for us. Our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather and George didn’t hesitate to accommodate us. Highly recommend!

great few days in Náxos - would recommend

The hotel itself was very clean, the amenities were nice, and the location was really convenient. What made my stay though was the hospitality of the owner George: he picked me up from the port, offered me some orange juice on arrival, and when my ferry was cancelled he found me somewhere else to stay even when his hotel was fully booked. There were also several thoughtful extras: beach towels and toys to borrow, a free washing machine, and a book swap. I would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice apartments, close to beach and town.

Windmill Naxos is a the perfect place for budget travellers. It is close to the town, port and restaurants and bars and next to the bus stop to other parts of Naxos. Room was comfy, big and clean and had a balcony and kitchen. George was a very good host and collected us up and dropped us of at the port. His sisters company is also a good place to hire a car to travel around Naxos.

Simple, charming and well located. It's particularly nice to see wifi spread across the hotels three floors, not just beaming out from the front desk (which is how most greek hotels do it these days). Friendly family staff. Close enough to most things

Excellent Stay will love to come back

It was a wonderful stay here at Windmill Naxos, George came to pick us up and drop off at port which was really convenient, also the rooms were very clean and had a really good kitchen for making breakfast.. very conveneint location the beach was hardly 0.3 km away and had the restautants with waves reaching near your feet. Supermarket was nearby in case you want to get something you are running low on, rental agencies were nearby.. The room was very very clean and modernly furnished, will definitely try to come back and stay here again.

Cute Place

Had a great stay in Naxos. The hotel was clean and George and his mother were so sweet. The room was great and we had good wifi there (although some of the other rooms may not), but good wifi is not all that common in Greece. The hotel was quite close to everything we needed-- about a 10 minute walk from town. Naxos itself is amazing where mountains meet the sea. Highly recommend this place.

within walking distance of all sights in town

hotel was very homely/owner and mother most helpful and friendly to a weary traveller.I felt very much at home.Room was spotlessly clean and sheets and towels changed every day by the lady of the manor.Very much a hands on approach by George who was a fountain of local relevant information.If I ever had a better travelling experience I cannot remember when and as a result I look forward to returning to WINDMILLS as soon as possible.

Very nice, cost-effective hotel

The owner George was extremely helpful with picking us up from the port, showed us the main places while on route to the hotel and gave us a map of the island: very nice and friendly altogether. The room was extremely clean and in great condition, which we liked, and AC cooled us down from +38C outside. Location is very nice, with two smallish supermarkets maybe 50-70 meters away and a cafe just outside the hotel. All in all, our brief visit at Naxos was really nice at the Windmill Hotel.
