The house was great. The only problem was the lock uses batteries and they died when we got back from a trip to one of the caves. We had to wait for over an hour and a half to get into the house and we were all tired and hot by the time we got in. The person that came and replaced the batteries was very nice and apologized that it took so long! Other than that we had a great time and the house was everything they said it was. I would stay there again even after the problem we had! It was very quiet but still close to everything we wanted to do!
I loved my stay in Nelsonville it was definitely a learning experience. i loved the location and studied up a bit on the townThe property was well keept and peacefull we had a hummingbird visit daily and the home is very well kept and absolutely beautiful we had a bit of a issue checking in but had a immediate response from the property owner. One word would be amazing
Visited with our son who attends Hocking College. This house is well stocked and clean. Nice location to the college and Baileys Trail System for mountain biking. Enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the air conditioning system is really loud-but we were happy to have air with the 90 degree days!
Overall great house. Very clean and maintained. We had trouble with our code to the front door at one point and the owner helped us resolve it fast. The road in front of the house is very busy with traffic.
The home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The only downside to some would be that when the sun comes up the bedrooms are very bright. If you are an early riser itâs not a problem, but the bedrooms could benefit from blackout curtains, but we didnât mind.
