Nice and Clean

For some reason I did not realize this was THE clubhouse for the pool. The clubhouse was very spacious and clean. Just like the pictures. It was nice that it opened up to the pool area. Convenient location to San Antonio area. The living room had a lot of echo making it hard to hear other people at times. The owners were very communicative which was very nice.

Spacious club house next Schlitterbahn

High high ceilings and an open floor plan give this property a lot of space. It's comfortable for a family. The amenities included were a great convenience. It's located right on the Comal river, and tubing outfitters are nearby. The host always answered our calls or email requests right away. Much appreciated!

The Club Haus was perfect for us this year, absolutely beautiful interior and so spacious, not to mention right by the pool. Only thing we missed was having a private balcony overlooking the river, but it was still great!!

The living area in the Club Haus is huge and you step out the back door to go swimming. If you want a quiet, private place, this might not be the right rental for you. There will be people swimming late into the night. It didn't bother the teenagers that I brought, but it would bother some. Overall we have a great stay and would visit again!

Large open main room with 2 large bedrooms. Only one bathroom but totally renovated. There are / were a few minor items that could be addressed. The folks at New Braunfels Escapes are excellent! I would not deal with any other rental agent in New Braunfels.

It was right off the pool with a sliding glass door out to the pool from the unit’s well equipped kitchen. There is lovely patio furniture at the pool and it is a nice place to sit and relax with family. A great unit for a family reunion with all the amenities at your fingertips. It is on the river, just a few steps from the water. The experience could not have been any better.

Reviewer Comments: Pros: Clean, roomy unit, comfortable beds, good WiFi, pool is the backyard, right across the street from Schlitterbahn Blastenhoff, short drive to all things NB, security visible entire stay, tube rentals right next door (Comal), river access on property, soap/towels/linens provided, no complicated checkout or cleaning procedures. Cons: No river view from this unit, can hear every word and step from upstairs unit, have to stop at office in town to pick up and drop off parking pass and arm bands, small step area to enter/exit river, no place to hang out by the river, water is deep at river entry but adults can stand if you cross to other side.

Reviewer Comments: This rental was in the perfect location for pool, hot tub, Schlitterbahn and river access, but most especially for kids, age 9 & 7 who want to stay in the pool! We could keep and eye on them at all time while cooking inside and eating in the dinning room. The room was Very Clean(A Big Plus for me). The room with the 2 queen stayed a little too warm and a high pitch alarm started going off about half way through our 7 day vacation in the laundry room that got kind of annoying, the sliding glass door was extremely hard to open and close especially for the women and kids, I guess it just needs to be oiled! But overall I would rent this room over and over again!

Nice place

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The unit is well appointed and tastefully decorated. The beds were really comfortable. There’s an upstairs unit which we didn’t expect since this was the clubhouse. Whoever stayed upstairs during our stay must have brought a herd of elephants with them. The running and stomping was extremely loud over the bedrooms and it started super early in the morning. The check in process is a bit antiquated, having to stop at the off-site management office to pick up check in instructions, tags and bands. No reason for this since you pick it up from a locked mailbox at the management office and do nothing in person. You also have return the bands to another box at the management office upon check out. Overall it was a good stay and we’d stay there again.

Not what I expected

I give an overall rating of 3 for these reasons. I will say the home was very clean and the pool was right out the patio door. My issues were the tenants on top were like a herd of elephants, every step taken was heard below, all night, so if they came in late we heard them until they went to bed. Second this unit is by the dumpsters so yes, every morning around 7:15 the trash truck was outside the window. So late nights and early mornings was not a great vacation.Third I thought the condo was right on the river but we had to walk around 2 other units to find the steps to the river. I should have researched the reviews and location a little more, I know...The river itself was very murky and dirty. Location was great, waterpark across the street and my husband and I walked into town from our room. Loved the town of New Braunfels but probably won't be back anytime soon.

Will be renting Warneke Clubhouse again

Reviewer Comments: The unit if very spacious and the bedrooms have a little distance from the main area/living/kitchen and are on the opposite of the building from the pool so noise is not an issue. Wifi is fast enough to wfh if you need to use Zoom (we did). A cold front came in suddenly so we didn't get to float or use the pool, but they're both easily accessible, uncovered parking is right at the unit, there were plenty of bathroom linens even if the house was at full capacity. LOVED that there was washer/dryer in the unit. The management company was very responsive and even helped me find a covered space to for my vehicle when hail was unexpectedly in the area.There is a small 3 seater sofa and two side chairs in the living room, but its not exactly enough if the unit were to be at full capacity with adults (there's space for 6 to sleep). There is a large dining table with lots of seating and there were additional folding tables and chairs so you can certainly seat a lot of people if you use those as an alternate.I will definitely rent again from New Braunfels Escapes. I was totally satisfied with my experience with them.
