Settled by pioneers in 1896, the original legacy farmhouse was expanded and remodeled several times; most recently, in 2023. Guests can find their own space in this 4-2.5 home. There are 3 separate living room spaces for those who need a little alone time. A washer and dryer, air conditioning, and WIFI offer you the modern luxuries the settlers couldn't even imagine. Relax at the house while listening to the creek or explore the acres of pristine nature during any season at Twin Creek Ranch.
The space
Enjoy cooking in the large country kitchen or on the gas grill located on the back deck. We supply everything you would need; just bring the groceries. Enjoy your meals gathered at the large oak dining room table. You might choose instead to use the gas grill and dine at one of the two outdoor picnic tables. The backyard deck is a great place to relax and to take in the bright and starry sky. You won't have to worry about city lights here! The house is very spacious and has two king-size beds, each in its own bedroom, a set of twins in their own room, and a queen-size bed in its own bedroom. There is a full-size bathroom, a 3/4 bathroom, and a 1/2 bathroom (all on the main floor). A queen-size Serta air mattress and an additional twin mattress and bedding are available upon request. All rooms have room-darkening shades for those who like to sleep in. Downstairs, in the living room, you will find a 70-inch smart television with surround sound. There are two additional living room spaces, each with its own smart television. A dedicated desk area is upstairs, and there is WIFI for those of you who can't quite "get away from it all".
Guest access
The two-story historic house is yours to enjoy. We offer self-check-in for your convenience. Come and go easily using the front door keypad lock. The property is very private and has a huge front yard, a private deck, and a spacious, unfenced backyard. A beautiful, flowing creek just adjacent to the house is a great place to dip your feet in the cool water during the warm months. You will find plenty of outdoor activities such as biking, hunting, fishing, off-roading, and hiking on the public lands (DOW and BLM) just across the county road. You are welcome to explore the dirt roads on the ranch if you prefer to stay close to the house. Wildlife is abundant in the surrounding countryside. Foxes, wild turkeys, skunks, whistle pigs, squirrels, coyotes, mountain lions, and bears are just a few of the animals that have been spotted by our guests. Use precaution when you are outside, especially at night, and make sure to place all trash in the bear-proof dumpster. Remove all food from your cars at night, as bears have been known to come looking for food and have been known to tear into coolers and the occasional unlocked vehicle.
