Great Property

Peaceful family getaway

Family members kept saying how peaceful it was, which is true! We took advantage of the dock and enjoyed spending a lot of time on the lake and pulled up to beaches for the kiddos ; we even boated up to Cypress Springs for dinner one night!

Great time on Cypress Bay!

This cabin is beautiful with room for everyone!. We had 12 people and 1 baby and every got a bed or fold out from the sectional. The personal dock made it very easy to access our boat and the pontoon rental was 2 houses down. This is one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. The only thing I would change is to put mirrors in the bedrooms because even with 2 bathrooms, it seemed like someone was always in there. Definitely 5 stars!

Wonderful and relaxing

We absolutely loved this little hideaway! We found out in the last month that our brother in law has a rare aggressive form of cancer and although my sister in law and he couldn’t be there we were able to bring the kids up for a getaway and time on the boat. The house was perfect and the special little touches did not go unnoticed. We loved the screened in porch that overlooked the water. Thank you for allowing us to use your place!!

Great family vacation house and area!

We had a great time this week. The house is as described and is a beautiful home. The house worked great for our family groups of 8 adults and 2 preteen boys. The kayaks and the paddle board were well utilized by our group. This is a beautiful spot and the lake is a great place for a gathering. Our group was also able to find several places to visit within an hours drive, which was very nice. Julie is a great hostess. We hope to be back at some point in the future.

Family vacation

We loved the house, it had everything we would ever want. The only issue we had at all was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable. I actually slept better on the couch. But we are already thinking about booking another few days again this summer.

Fantastic Stay

The house was perfect for our needs. We made a large breakfast every morning and had everything we needed. Grilled one night, and again, everything there we could possibly need. Made S’mores at the fire pit with ample seating-and we had a large group. But the highlight for us was the ability to swim right out the back door off the dock. The grandkids were in heaven! They loved the kayaks and paddle board too. Bonus: Everything was clean, fresh flowers and some snacks, proximity to Murray for the nice little farmers market to add veggies to our grilling night meal, travel books throughout the house, and family games. This vacay was one of the best. Kudos to the owners for thinking of it all!

Great house-beautiful setting

My husband and I along with our best friends (total of 3 couples) stayed here for a weekend away. This was the perfect place to stay! The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the layout with the large living space and well-organized kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and nice sized, and the screened porch was perfect. Our favorite part was the fire pit with the 6 chairs. We spent the most time chatting around the fire and relaxing. It was excellent for us to catch up and relax with best friends. We did go in the fall and there was NO water within about 30 yards from the dock. The owner explained this well and even doubled checked that we understood that the lake would be low at that time of year. The husbands in the group drove a few minutes away to rent a boat and use the lake where fishing was still available. We could not have been happier with the house, setting, and kindness of the owner.

Vintage Chicks go antiquing

This was a great property to stay in. The house is well maintained and met our needs for a weekend of laughter, getting caught up and antiquing in upper Tennessee and Kentucky. Julie was very accommodating while making our reservations and took the time out on Saturday morning to explain how to access the UT/Bama game (we could not miss seeing our Vols play!). I know this would be a great place to stay and enjoy the lake. I would love to go back with our boat!

Had a great stay

Very clean, organized and furnished home. There is plenty of space outdoors for children to play as well. The location is close by to a couple marinas which made it nice for a boat rental. The lake was lower than we hoped so we were not able to dock our rental for easy access but with the marinas close it worked out well. Julie was very easy to work with and responsive. The basket of snacks and goodies and fresh flowers was a great welcoming touch!

The place was perfect for us and another couple. We rented a pontoon boat from a local place and was able to come and go from the dock. The water was is a little low for a boat but we made it.
