Do not stay here

Check in was horrible they told me if I didn’t like it leave. They were trying to overcharge me and I just wanted an explanation of the charges. They did not want to give me an explanation but eventually they did. Sat the keys on the counter and said nothing no direction on how to get to my room nothing. Room did not smell good.

Nice place

The hotel was nice and clean. The attached casino was also well run and had good staff. The restaurants are good but as many people have said, the options are limited. My bathroom has some wall paper issues. Minor. The Fiestaware factory outlet was great. The hotel was a little overpriced but the best place in the northern WV panhandle.

There were no food options...no food. Our room had cobwebs on the side of the air conditioner unit. The mattress needs replaced, and that's coming from our backs being stiff and sore. Worst 2 days I've ever spent! Will not go back!

I was charged $40 for an extra person. There was only 2 of us and neither Expedia nor Mountaineer refunded me which I was told I would be refunded. I have reported this issue to The Federal Commission, hopefully they shut down Expedia.
