Great location! Was in. The front carriage house and didnât have problems with street noise at night. Wish the hot tub was available but not a deal breaker. Would stay again
Bed was very comfortable & room was clean. The sidewalk area in front of the Inn entrance was pretty trashy and remained that way all thru our stay. We also closed our air vents as air blew on us all the time even when system was turned off.
It was a nice place and full of character as would be expected in New Orleans. It was clean, and had everything we needed. Just a 5 min drive to the French Quarter.
Easy to work with the management and access the property! The place was clean and ready for us. Super cute for the price and free parking was awesome to see!
Enjoyed our stay at B&W. Walking distance toFrench Quarter. Owner immediately responded to any questions. Room is quaint and clean. Would stay there again.
Very quirky and unique accommodation. We loved staying here, it was easy walking distance from the French Quarter. The courtyard was really relaxing to sit with a coffee in the morning.
We thought it was hilarious that the main door to the Courtyard Room opened straight into the bathroom - so you'd need to be really comfortable with your travelling companion.
The area around the accommodation felt very safe and quiet.
We had the cottage and a Bungalow for our group of 9, and it worked out great.
The location was walkable to the quarter and the street car line, and there are great restaurants in the neighborhood and Bywater.
No concerns for safety, regardless of time of day. We would definitely stay there again.
Loved this place. Wouldâve been 5 stars but we stayed in the carriage house at the front and had a really disturbed night on the Sat/sun (until 4am) with noisy people banging doors etc - obviously nothing much the owners couldâve done about it. Also missed the breakfast which wasnât available (good place to eat just across the road though!)
We liked how clean, quaint and quiet it was. It was a bit further from the French Quarter than we realized but we walked everywhere anyway. Itâs very close to the lively music of Frenchmen St. and the excellent food at Paladar 511. The plumbing was good for such an old place and itâs well-maintained. The owner keeps cat food in the front entrance for the pretty but thin stray cat. We enjoyed our stay.
If you want to stay in a place that makes you feel like you are in New Orleans, this is it. This is an older place, which I only feel gives it the character it needs. It is also a smaller place - no big lobby, elevators or lots of people to deal with. You can park your car when you arrive and walk to anything you need (the walk might be too much for some, but we loved it). Any minor issues when had while staying there (example: needing another towel), were immediately taken care of too. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed for Mardi Gras. Location was great and they were attentive to replacing a defective hairdryer the same day. I only wish they would have offered a mid-week cleaning as living in a single room with another person can get messy! Otherwise great water pressure quaint courtyard.
We were delighted when we opened the door & saw the Courtyard. Such a beautiful place! We loved being able to walk all over & as a NOLA swing music lover the proximity to Frenchmen street was priceless. The room was beautifully decorated and adequately cooled. If we had one suggestion, it would be to have ceramic mugs for the coffee, instead of the styrofoam cups. Thank yâall so much!!
