One of the best VRBOs I have ever stayed at. Well equipped kitchen with gas burners. Washer and dryer worked wonderfully. Temperature control (AC on hot days and heat on cold days) worked perfectly in EVERY ROOM upstairs and downstairs - a rarity in VRBOs. The beds were more comfy than most places I have stayed and the bathrooms were in great order. The master bedroom even had a second floor balcony. We cooked nearly every meal at the VRBO, which means we had to get groceries. We tried two different Whole Foods, a Target, a Rouses, and others. It turns out, the *best* grocery store in all of New Orleans happens to be within walking distance of this property - it's called The Fresh Market and it's right next door.We took the trolly most nights to get into the French Quarter so that we didn't have to deal with parking. The stop is right by the house. We bought week long "Jazzy Passed" with the "Le Pass" app on our phones. It was super convenient. The enclosed backyard, decorated with edison bulbs, is really an underrated part of this house. We found ourselves out there most nights with the conversation still flowing. The living room is really nice too. Comfy couches with a lot of space. The driveway is tight and takes some patience to learn, but then I had no problem parking the rest of the week we were there. We were in a massive SUV, too. When we return to NOLA, I hope this house is still available to rent. One of my favorites!
