For the most part, our stay was totally fine (emphasis on fine). The beds were comfortable, and for the most part, the property was as described. However, there were a number of annoyances that advanced to real issues throughout our stay. Annoyances included no response to my check in inquiries, hours after my first request and an hour after the advertised check in time, no hair dryer, despite it being included in amenities, what appeared to be regular hand soap refilled in a foaming hand soap dispenser (resulting in no soap coming out; ever), no dish towels, drying rack, dishwasher, or sponge, 0 additional blankets, heat not working in any room except one (again, despite heat being an amenity featured).
However, all of that I could have gotten over, except for the fact that the owner locked us out of the unit for almost 2 hours, after midnight. The smart lock wasn't set correctly, and we were unable to get into the unit when we returned from a day out at 11 pm. We called the owner who did not answer for >20 phone calls, lasting over an hour. We called the VRBO support team, who also were unable to find a solution, even offering to pay for us to stay at a hotel. After 2 hours in the middle of the night, we FINALLY got ahold of the owner, who was able to use the smart lock to get us into the unit. However, she never apologized for setting it incorrectly in the first place.
