Entry was tricky since we were not familiar with access code entry and the code box was located in an area not clearly marked. But the security guard saw us wandering around outside the building and was gracious enough to help clarify the process and helped us get in. The apartment was spacious and comfortable enough for myself, husband and two adult children. The unit had some cosmetic issues that could be fixed to make it more upscale, like the cupboards with old stickers damages to the wood, make shift carpentry, bathroom tile needs mold scrubbed in shower and the tile floors need scrubbing. The dishwasher did not work our entire week stay even though we reported it broken the second day after our arrival when we tried to put morning dishes inside, the handle wouldn’t release. Maybe that’s where all the spoons were because there was only one in the drawer. We got plastic silverware from a restaurant to supplement our stay. I had to change the sheets on the bed before sleeping the first night because they were not changed. There were extra sheets and plenty of towels. It was very loud on the streets at night. People just hanging out side on the streets and were talking loud and it echoed. . Lots of loud traffic in the morning with cars, trucks, maintenance of trash dumpsters and palm tree cutting and removal. I slept with earplugs. The location was almost one mile from most of the places I went to in the French quarter. I would probably stay closer my next visit.
