Tv remote didn’t work so had to use buttons on side of tv to operate. Bed was hard and some of the lamps weren’t plugged in. Shower drain took forever to drain. Property itself was nice, maybe my room was just outdated and in need of refresh.

Stayed in Hermann House across the street from main property. Room not as pictured. All photos and descriptions indicated brick walls. Our room did not have brick. Moldy smell, but it’s New Orleans so that’s a forgive. Bed did not include a comforter, I had to request one from front desk. Some damage to the walls, air vent grates needed to be cleaned, luggage stand was broken. Ironing board also broken -once deployed, refused to refold. Breakfast buffet was comically bad -recommend avoid that option. Bar was chill, bartender nice and talented. Prime location for exploring the quarter. Staff was gutty. Respect. Overall it was okay but will likely explore other options when I return to NOLA.

We had an amazing stay at the Dauphine. It was clean and the location was perfect. Central to everything we wanted to do! Our room was huge, clean and the bed was super comfortable.

The room was so drafty because the balcony doors could not be closed off from the outside elements. Due to drafty conditions the Room temperature would not get above 68* because the outside temperature was in the 30s. The staff members at the front desk were very professional and friendly, but the room was terrible

I read a recent review, and this is spot on. I both love and hate this place. The staff are very warm, friendly and engaging . The issue? The analog tv ( just take them out or replace and the filthy carpets ( I know the Quarter ) . This makes me feel for the staff as I’m positive this is an ongoing issue. I believe the management and overall lack of updating ( the maintenance?) must need an overhaul. I believe the management would love for their guests to return; this is not possible, when you lack the business knowledge to understand and care, that Repeat business is key. This makes me wonder if the company even cares about their employees. Sadly, I will not be returning or recommend The Dauphene. It’s a shame as so much potential.
