Fantastic house for my family as we visited New Orleans for spring break. Seven of us stayed comfortably with room to spare. Also love the proximity to the amazing food establishments on Algiers, as well as to the ferry!

We had an excellent stay here. We had one minor issue and the owner was responsive and took care of the issue promptly. Great location close to the ferry into the French Quarter and easily able to get deliveries of food and necessary items.

The property was truly a gem! I celebrated my 50th birthday with friends. The check in process was seamless. Property was gorgeous inside and out, elegance, charm, and fun- everything you look for in a rental. We had a couple questions during the stay and communication was easy and property management that came to address issue was prompt, friendly and professional. Just wish we had spent the whole week

This place is everything you hope a VRBO will be. Clean, well appointed, with spacious bedrooms and welcoming communal spaces. It is a safe, easy to get to location and I DIDNT HAVE TO CLEAN the whole house when we left. The dread of having to end my stay by making sure everything was spic and span wasn’t there! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

A hop across the bridge to the heart of New Orleans

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful rental home in January, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The heated pool was a true highlight, allowing us to enjoy swimming even in the cooler winter months. The interior of the home was just as impressive. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of towels available, which was a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully appointed with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the tasteful New Orleans art throughout added a charming and authentic local flair.One of our favorite spots was the great rooftop patio, which offered stunning views and a perfect place to unwind. The layout of the home was ideal for families, providing ample space for everyone to gather without feeling crowded. Overall, this rental home provided a perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a family getaway in New Orleans!

Perfect Stay

My friends and I stayed here for about 3 nights. The house had a lot of space and the pool was perfect for the NOLA heat. It was easy to get an Uber/Lyft even though it’s 15 min from downtown. The hosts were very accommodating and the check in process was very easy. Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful home with updated decor furniture. Master bedroom and bathroom room was perfect. House was vet spacious and clean. Owner was always communicating any time we had a question. Downside was you had to be out of the pool by 930 every night and cameras were watching you on the outside of the property. Parking was limited and no full bathrooms downstairs. No TVs in two of the rooms and entrance into the neighborhood looked a little suspicious at first but toward the back it was surrounded around nice houses and nice neighbors as well. It is in the city so you have to except that I guess. Refrigerator stopped working a few times but a smaller was available to use. Overall we enjoyed our stay and of had to I would stay again! Host was excellent!

We enjoyed our stay! Lovely outdoor area to sit and relax. Plenty of room in the house. We had a group of 10 people stay, everyone had their own areas if they wanted it. Host is great at answering any questions! Would recommend this property.

Algiers House

The house is very nice. Convenient to the bridge or ferry to downtown New Orleans. The weather wasn’t friendly for outdoor activities while we were there but the backyard was nice.

Inaccurate listing

The only one star is due to inaccurate listing. I was waiting for this to be updated but it hasn't. We stayed here over Christmas with family. Each couple was to have their own bathroom and shower. There are only 2 showers in this property, but the listing shows 4. The kitchen isn't funny stocked for coming and the refrigerator wasn't working the entire time we were there. They offered us a small mini grog the day before we left.

Beautiful but
 sterile?

The decor and furniture looks like something out of a magazine- loved it all. But it was like staying in a house on a tv set- not very homey feeling- and the 5+ video cameras all around the house (outside) made it feel even more unwelcoming. The heated pool is very heated. Would have loved to get in it. But after we checked in- we got a short and sweet message to not touch it after 9:30pm or we would be asked to leave immediately no questions asked. Being tourists in NOLA, getting home late after dinner and tours- would have been nice to use the hot pool in December. Ehhhhh— is the overall rating I would give.

Heirloom Properties in NOLA

The property was perfect. The bedrooms were very accommodating and the amenities didn’t miss a beat. We had everything we needed to cook gourmet meals. Space was great for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.

Best birthday ever

Tucked away in the historic Algiers Point area. It was perfect. I rented the property for a birthday dinner. It is a beautiful property. I didn't want to leave. Enough space for my guest and kitchen space for my chef. I would definitely rent it again. Lets not forget about the pool. It was more of a lap pool then a conventional pool but it served the purpose.
