Couch was hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. Kitchen sink faucet was almost inoperable. Overall, house was old and paint peeling off the doors and walls. Not worth the money we spent on our stay.
The house was clean, in a nice quiet neighborhood, easy to find. Host was easily accessible, responded quickly to emails. The beds were very comfortable. Only complaint that we have, and is not indicative to just here, the furniture was the most uncomfortable things to sit on. Chair you felt like you sank to the ground and the couch hurt your back. I would recommend the place to others but would warn them of that. But of course most spend their time out on the town. Furniture gives it a 4 out of 5. Otherwise was a great deal.
This property was perfect for our two night stay in NOLA. It was conveniently located just a short walk to the levee, where we to took the ferry over to the French Quarter to celebrate Mardi Gras. This is one side of a shotgun style duplex and the connecting property owner is very friendly and welcoming. Mauricio is a wonderful host and very responsive. I would recommend this property to anyone needing to book a stay in the NOLA area.
This place is perfect to be in all the mix of New Orleans but still be able to relax when you want to. Less than a mile to the ferry or a short drive across the river.
