Great location, easy to find. Host was very accommodating and made the check in process easy. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. Loved this place and the host. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay here! The location is a prime spot for nightlife options away from the typical chaotic New Orleans spots. Plenty of options to walk to for food and fun near the house! Also, it is right next to options for public transportation making it easy to navigate around the city! The house itself also was comfortable and had everything we needed to make it a home away from home. We took the train into town which arrived at before check-in time and they allowed us to check in early for free! Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality and making our trip wonderful!
This place is great! Perfect walking distance to get to some of the best spots in town. Amazing food everywhere in this neighborhood. Ben was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Extremely responsive and accommodating.Place was clean, comfortable and the decor was awesome!5 Star place, five star host
We loved staying at Benâs cute little shotgun for our stay in Nola! Everything was clean, well-appointed and authentically New Orleans. We felt like locals. We loved walking down to St Roch Market and wandering through the Marigny. Highly recommend!
The location was close enough to the FQ and other attractions to make it worthwhile. As advertised, it's also located on a high traffic street in very close proximity to bars. On the Saturday we stayed there, there was also some sort of open trailer parked on the block blasting music (with incredibly raunchy lyrics) until 1am. We were up anyway so we didn't mind, but I would definitely not recommend for families/kids. There were pros about the location: across the street from a grocery, a short walk to Frenchman Street, and two blocks from a great restaurant, the Elysian. Great communication with property managers.
This was a wonderful home for our family vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans and the market across the street provided everything we could want. We took advantage of the lovely coffee shop (Baldwins) across the street, too. The beds seemed to be brand new and quite comfortable. We traveled with 5 adults, but the home could accommodate more.
Long weekend with friends, so a short stay. Good location - 10 minutes walk to Spotted Cat, next to the Hi-Lo, and food trucks showed up at the doorstep every night for midnight tacos or barbecue. Instructions and check-in straightforward. Property could use a refresh - not as delightful as the photos - and maybe some storage space or a suitcase stand (i.e., something more than six wall hooks in the middle bedroom).
Owners made everything easy and communicated with us very well. Close to everything we wanted to see and Uber was very affordable when we wanted to get around quickly. Very happy with the place.
5 ladies from all over the country came in to celebrate a bday and do NOLA proper! The hosts are very responsive and the place is perfectly spacious for a bunch of girls looking to have fun. The area may seem a little dodgy from all the graffiti, even on trash cans out front, with some interesting locals wondering about all hours (and may be even be eating late dinners on your entry steps at 1am from all the food truck parked in front of your doorway when you come home late) and the music of the night club Hi-Ho, literally next door doesn't die down til 2am, (so bring your earplugs).... but we felt safe and secure inside the unit. Just be aware it is a LOUD PARTY scene until late into the morning. It's comfortable, homey, and a fun neighborhood that's up and coming with drag/burlesque show on the other corner and yuppie food hall down the street. Quick Uber unto the quarter makes it an easy place to launch any adventure.... Just be prepared for the extra character beyond the home itself! We girls rolled with it. Made friends with the food truck owner and felt at home. We would stay again and recommend to anyone with a sense of 'adventure' AND ear plugs lol.
This property was close to the French Quarter and had plenty of room to accommodate a family with three basically adult children. Proximity to night life and grocery was perfect. Most of nightlife in immediate vicinity was 21 and up but walking distance to restaurants with great jazz music that the teens enjoyed (Maison). Enjoyed the late night eats at Liberation taco around the corner. Would stay here again.
Great stay with friends, and about 15 minutes walk to the east side of Bourbon Street. Good bars nearby, and a superb coffee / breakfast shop 2 blocks away.
There were 2 negatives, which didnât ruin our experience:
1. The bathroom in the middle of the property didnât produce hot water during our entire 3 day stay. This needs to be fixed for future guests
2. The bed in the middle bedroom has a slant to it.
Otherwise, awesome.
It was a nice clean 3 bedroom duplex with a nice private backyard. Very close to local bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay again if we are back in New Orleans!
