We had a great time at Quaint Charm in NOLA. The house was clean and comfortable. The location was close to all attractions. The parking is only on street, we had to go to the side streets occasionally and if you have dogs the courtyard is mostly paving stones so you will need to take walks on the sidewalk which is not ideal. Overall weâd recommend this rental, we had a great time there..
Comfortable memory foam beds. Loved that there was a washer Dryer with laundry soap. Stocked kitchen. Neighborhood was a little questionable but doable with the locked gate. Check in was super easy. Host was very communicative. Couches and tiny bar type table with 2 chairs were in desperate need of replacement. A lot of it was updated while still keeping the old house charm. Really tall ceilings. Common outdoor space was nice and very quaint. Couldâve definitely been cleaner. But it wasnât bad.
Pros: close to garden district, magazine street, and St. Charles streetcar. Pretty, newer building with fresh paint and nice furnishings. Cute shared backyard.
Things to be aware of:
Street parking only and that was sometimes scarce. The surrounding neighborhood is a little rundown. Towels were stained and old. Some missing kitchen essentials (eg only a few forks, no spatula/flipper, only a couple of mismatched wine glasses). The neighbors above us made a lot of noise well into the night and called to complain about our noise at 11:30 am.
What an awesome set up! Everything was better than expected! Loved the courtyard to hang out after the fun and decompress! Beds were super comfy and plenty of towels to go around. Street parking felt safe too.
Thank you!
The home is a newly renovated property with 4 units with a large central courtyard. We met other guest and enjoyed conversations and playing cards. The house is easily assessable to all attractions restaurants. The host is very responsive and provided lots of suggestions for area attractions and dining. We had a great time and recommend this property for family, couples,
