Love the ambiance!!!! Loved the cats!!! Walking distance to all the nightlife, but also a bit quiet. Cant keep all the noise out, but its a party town. Pool was cool and comfortable, staff was helpful and kind. If you want to enjoy a stay in a time capsule, this was the best spot. Beds were comfortable, AC worked beautifully. Will definitely stay here next time we visit!

If you want an authentic stay and superb service there is no other place. 50 steps from Bourbon Street yet still quiet if you turn in early. A beautiful old New Orleans building with fantastic staff and bosses (the cats)! My second stay here and I will return.

This is the perfect hotel for people who want an Old Time authentic New Orleans experience. It's not cookie cutter modern. The hotel is quirky, fun and very comfortable.

Good, quiet location in the French Quarter. Lovely courtyards inside. Room was musty and not very clean. Strange black residue in the sink kept appearing after we repeatedly removed it. Front desk attendant laughed when we mentioned it. We had to ask more than once to get our room cleaned. Attendants were friendly but not warm/welcoming. It would have been okay for a one or two day stay, but six days was too many to put up with these inconveniences. Cat’s were the best part of the stay.

Gorgeous and charming

What a gem! The pictures of our room didn't really do it justice. The whole building oozes old world charm and was a beautiful and convenient base for our New Orleans weekend. The staff was kind and attentive as well, including the kitties.

The hotel was amazing! Very friendly staff and such a unique and beautiful historic building. Our suite was very spacious and clean. I didn’t hear any sounds from outside of our room the entire weekend and the hotel was busy. That made it very easy to relax.

Best Hotel in the French Quarters

The hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff were super friendly and helpful! The resident cats were the final touch of sophistication to the hotel! I will be back next year and stay once again at The Olivier Hotel!
