We loved the character and location of the house. The neighborhood is lovely! We were in town for a girlâs weekend and there was plenty of space to hangout.
House exterior needs cleaned and painted. Stair railing was molding so we got dirty hands just walking up to the door. Living area was not same as photos. Lamps had no available plugs. Couch was different and not as big as in photos so we were cramped to sit together. House is very very old and a pretty beat up. Tv didnât work from beginning and property manager never responded at all. (Hosteeva). We woke up to no fridge, no heat, and no stove. Being there for Christmas vacation would have included a bunch of cooking but this was ruined day one. It took the management company 4 hours to get someone to the house and begin resolve. Problem was not solved until 3:30 that afternoon. Not acceptable. Christmas Day cooking - we could only use one burner and the oven. If we turned another burner on, we blew the breaker. Kitchen was not well appointed at all. No spices. Limited pots and pans, poor utensils and knives. Not enough bowls for the 7 of us. Not enough of same size cups, etc. can opener was broken (this caused issues we never dreamed of). Locations is very loud with busy hardware store across the street. Work trucks in and out very early and all day. Hosteeva called as I was driving home and offered to give me 130 dollars for all the trouble. When I asked for more, they said that is all they can offer against my 2500 stay. I will never stay in a Hosteeva managed property again. Corp owned - corp managed. Say not to Hosteeva.
A Great Anchor Location for an Uptown stay in NOLA
Very nice, it's all about location. Many good places to eat within blocks + a new Rouse's just down the street. Walk to Tulane, walk to Audubon Park. Perfect spot. Accommodations just a bit spartan, but with no plans to cook or entertain, it was just perfect for a multi-day visit to NOLA.
I know New Orleans pretty well, and wanted a place where my team could stay for a meeting in town. Freret St has really developed into a great location all its own, but it is very convenient for things around town too.
The house was quiet, large, gave us plenty of room to spread out, but the ability to come together as well. I had no issues with any comms, the property, or anything about the process. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here for one night. The house offers enough space for a larger group and it was very convenient. Overall, it was great.
The living room furniture needs TLC.
The house is located in a terrific neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. A grocery store is within walking distance. Street parking was pretty easy. Conveniently located near Loyola University, Tulane University, and Audubon Park. Easy access to downtown. The house is as advertised.
