Staff was super friendly and helpful. The gym is excellent! Best hotel gym I’ve been to in a long while. Location is also excellent. We did have same issue with heater heating up room to warm in cooler month. So we turned it off, cracked the window for a short bit and it shut it before sleeping. It worked well. Wonderful stay and would return!

Good standard hotel room - no real ambiance or extra touches but clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly & helpful. The hotel is pretty far uptown so a bit of a distance from destinations & attractions in midtown/downtown but walking distance (6 longer crosstown blocks) to Central Park and good subway access to downtown with the Q line nearby & 86th street crosstown bus right out front. Restaurants & cafes & delis/food stores in the immediate area. I chose it for proximity to family & it worked out well - might return for that reason but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for exploring the city. Convenient to LaGuardia but budget an hour or more from/to JFK. There are a lot of more centrally located options if you’re looking to see the sights in midtown, Times Square/Broadway, Chelsea, the Village, etc. Overall a good stay - expensive but that’s likely expected in manhattan.
