Just remember that 6th Avenue is the same as Avenue of the Americas. This would get confusing if you're a tourist getting out of the subway stations as the location is on a six-street intersection.

Another great weekend in NYC

Great trip to NYC. Tribeca was a wonderful location close to great shopping and restaurants. Close to subway to explore the rest of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Last minute trip th NY. Hotel was mega expensive but didn’t live up to the cost. Only one lift working, which sometimes Had bigger queues than a ride at an Alton Towers.

Great staff, ok everything else

The staff is amazing. But the room is a little dated. There are no blackout curtains and there was a billboard shining directly into our room the entire time. The elevator takes forever. If you are not comfortable taking the stairs, you will spend several minutes waiting for the elevator each time. The restaurant is not as advertised either.

We arrived late in the morning to check in. However the hotel apparently wanted us to call if not checking in during daylight hours and they cancelled our hotel room and gave the room away. We had a lot of difficulty finding a new room over Memorial Day weekend and had to lug our luggage around the city trying to find a place to sleep.

A few issues: bathtub was dirty, had to rinse and wipe down with a towel; housekeeping knocked twice, once at 9 a.m. and once at 5:30 p.m.(2 separate days). Both times I was on the room, but they never returned; morning service in the restaurant (Sunday the 15th) was abysmal; since housekeeping never showed up, I had to restock the coffee myself. One person at the desk said they'd send it up, but after an hour, nothing, so I went down to the lobby and got myself. On the plus side, the staff were lovely for the most part, and the room was very comfortable, if not fully clean.

Looks OK at arrival and front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Then the elevator only one working and slow as can be. Check out waiting for it and then is full has no excuse. House keeping staff simply unfriendly. The streets noise of New York is made for New Yorkers. That is no fault of the establishment. Avoid the Avenue fazing rooms if at all possible. Stayed at 5 different hotels during the last 10 days and the only thing I can say that was next to the venue we were attending. Location can make it worth putting up with the rest.
