If you want a friendly hotel in an historic and comfortable building, near to Central Park and the subway, go to the Belleclaire or any other Triumph hotels

Property was wonderful. My only complaint is with the cafe associated with the vouchers. They do not G’s r any non dairy options for milk for Lattes, coffee etc which is unheard of in theses days; also no non dairy sandwiches or even jelly Maya’s of butter for bread. Makes it very difficult for someone such as myself who can’t have milk or butter to order. Other than that, all was wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belleclaire. The property is conveniently located to the Beacon Theatre, wonderful bakery downstairs, and delicious Italian restaurant across the street; also a very short walk to the 79th St subway station. Shanies was so friendly and provided us with a wonderful check in and checkout experiences; we also had great conversation with Edward. All staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The room and bedding were quite comfortable and very clean. Would not hesitate to stay at this property again!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Although the room was smaller than it appeared on the pictures, it was very clean, with comfortable bed. The staff was super pleasant. The only negative would be the lack of privacy - we could hear the loud occupants across from us, and any noise from the corridor. My husband was not happy with the fact that there was no complimentary coffee/tea maker and fridge. The location for us was spot-on.

Overpriced place.For 6 nights we paid over $1,500 and received horrible experience. Price does definitely not worth the experience but location since it is located in the Manhattan area. We were given the room we booked but it wasn’t for 2 guests, it was super tight, no place to walk and the bathroom was extremely small, so to have a bit more space, it had to be always closed. The night manager was nice and friendly, provided us with more specious room, even though the bathroom was still small and 2 people couldn’t be there at the same time. And we could clearly see that the 2nd room was for 2 guests. Although, we really appreciate the gesture of giving us another room,both rooms were dusty. Moreover,2nd room was part of another connecting room, so we could hear EVERYTHING, especially when guest’s mascara rolled to our room, no one cared. During HSK service towels were removed but not refreshed,dust wasn’t properly removed.Upon check-in we were given vouchers for breakfast in the cafe that was right next to the hotel,what the team called “breakfast” was croissants,sandwiches,yogurt and other pastries plus coffee/tea/juice.No standard breakfast options were provided for such price and it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Check in/out were unwelcoming as well as the interaction during the stay with the whole team besides one bellman (don’t remember his name :(, gentleman who aided with tour info and the night manager on our first night. To sum up, no personalization, care and smile.
