It was our first time. Close to my daughter’s place. It was clean.
The hotel is next to the train railway and every 20 min a train passes making a lot of noise. They did not clean the room after first night’s stay and when I asked why they said if I wanted room service I should have told front desk. They did not have “do not disturb/make room” signs. Showers had no bottom rail holding water so everywhere got wet and slippery. For a 50 room hotel they had parking for 5 spots and expected others to park on street. For $300/night this was the worst hotel experience.
The outdoor train tracks were level with the third floor of the hotel. It was like thunder every time a train went by which was often!!
Location is ok, however we were surprised the receptionist the first night told us it was not possible to get a taxi in the area which we could not believe!!
The king sized bed was a full sized bed. There were not enough pillows and when asked for extra we were given one that didn’t have a pillowcase. We had no tissue in our bathroom except for the remaining role that someone else had used. The ice bucket was dusty with no bag to put ice inside of. The hot water had to run for ten minutes to actually get hot. This was the worst hotel I have been to.
Wallpaper was water stained and peeling in the bedroom. Was not aware that hotel ran parallel to the elevated train route. Elevator floor and grooves looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in months. Wish I took pictures of the room’s walls and elevator floor. It was a last minute booking so I was stuck. No closer to hang clothing and no racks. It looked like like a pay by hour hotel. Luckily I bought my own linens and pillow. Would not recommend at all!
Yikes. 😳
It’s their grand opening and I wish we’d known that.
Checkin was smooth, the man working was lovely.
And that was pretty much the end of the positives.
Housekeeping monopolizes the elevator, waits are insane.
Non-guests hanging out in lobby
Hallways smell like old cigarette smoke - my guess is from whatever was here before.
Our room card scanner was broken (but worked) and the door had significant damage as if someone tried to break in. While I understand that things break, what a weird choice to give us this room. It was giving damaged during a break in.
No fitted sheet. Instead a flat sheet over the mattress with another one over it so every night you end up on the bare, scratchy mattress. That’s weird. And kind of gross.
Only one room key which is eco-friendly but a woman got a lot of grief when asking for a second one.
The woman who was mostly at the desk was utterly miserable and unpleasant.
The television was on when we checked in. We wanted to turn it off. We called the front desk. She said “hello” instead of a more-typical greeting which was weird (also no instructions on phone, I just hit 0). I asked where I could find the remote and she said we had to come get it.
No hair dryer.
No washcloths.
No Do Not Disturb sign.
I asked for a Do Not Disturb sign and she looked at me like I was crazy. “We don’t have those.”
I asked if she could make change and got the third degree. Just say “No” if you can’t be bothered.
Do not stay here.
Room 15 meters from railway. Terrible noise within all the nihgt and day. Building is little shaking every time when train go around. Room is spacious, nice, clean. But because noise is impossible to sleep.

Everything was great, I would have given a 5 star rating but for these issues. There is only 5 parking spots, the room I got was on the front so I heard every car that passed by and also there is a above ground train line and the train passes every 15-20 minutes
Close to the subway and parking was a plus. Nice staff. Some hairs in bed that weren't ours. We were breathing in both cigarette smoke and marijuana often at night and while we slept. Gave me a headache. Didn't love my kids having to smell that but then again, we smell it everywhere we go these days. It'd be nice if it wasn't in the hotel though.
overall unpleasant; no toilet paper in the room and staff was rude when we asked for some, our door looked like someone tried to break into it prior and was the only door on the floor like that, and overall just was fine.
Probably the dirtiest “hotel” I’ve stayed in. There was dirt on the floors, so much that I had to throw away my socks when returning home. The sheets had stains and holes in it. This place is more like a motel. Originally, booked for two nights and ended up leaving after the first. They did refund the second unstayed night so will give 1/10.
