This was a perfect, centrally located hotel for our visit to Manhattan. The room was comfortable and clean, although we didn’t spend much time in it as we were out exploring all day and evening. Easy access to theaters, train and shopping. It was great for first-time visitors.

This hotel has excellent location by walk and train. Many good bar and restaurants nearby. But our bad experience was with the men bartender in the Rum Bar. They was arrogant and treat us like bad. We are from Puerto Rico and we are US Citizen. He treat us like inmigrants without paper. That was the bad attitude.

Great location for a quick walk back after a Broadway show. Very clean, helpful staff, grab and go breakfast was tasty. Bathroom is small but clean and new. Bed was comfy. We stayed on a Wednesday evening and I don’t know why but the price was over $200 more than any other night - that was the only disappointment.

The room was very small for two people. The hotel was extremely busy and the lobby always crowded and chaotic. The best part about the hotel was the location for seeing Broadway shows and the service at breakfast in Friedmans was very good both times we had breakfast there. Bond 45 service was not as good. On our 4th day there the maid did not replenish the water and coffee (part of the $40/day resort fee) and after two requests, it arrived 3 hours later as we were checking out of our room.

From beginning front desk to end bellman, EVERYONE was great. This is my favorite hotel in NYC for location - the back entrance is perfect - and the great staff are unmatched. Rooms are quiet and comfortable, well-kept, and there are plenty of elevators and they WORK. This hotel is in the very heart of the theatre district so no cabs needed unless leaving the Times Square area. I miss the full breakfast option rather than grab-and-go, but the partnership with Carve is nice. I will be back!

Location is excellent! Times Square is but a few feet away. Room cleaning staff are friendly. Was very cautious when showering cause the bathtub was very slippery. Overall, very pleased with the stay. Rooms could use a small fridge.

Location is great but very busy; the lobby is usually chaotic during the day with large groups for the walking tour. The room (signature king suite) was decent size but tight for a family of 4. The air conditioning was ABSURDLY LOUD. Bathroom design was plain dumb; without a shower door, water must flow straight down to avoid water spraying all over the floor and the frosted pocket door provided very little privacy. Only one towel hook resulted in new towels every day. The room could have been cleaner upon check-in; there was a lot of hair on the sofa that hadn’t been vacuumed. The pullout bed was angled improperly forcing us to sleep backwards on it. The free grab n go breakfast at the hotel was “meh” but the options down the block at Carve were better. We probably would not choose to stay here again.
