Really convenient from the airport, two complementary water bottles, complementary coffee, and tea on the room. Room came with an extra dollar amount for the café, which is being reimbursed at checkout.

AC unit started knocking loudly about 1 am and never stopped till check out. I finally went downstairs at 3 am to address it, and the overnight manager was right off the bat rude, unapologetic and yelled at me for wanting a small discount on a 600$ dollar a night room that I could not get any sleep in. I literally left the front desk in tears. Then, they have the audacity to have their housekeepers ENTER THE ROOM at 10 AM trying to hurry us out AN HOUR BEFORE CHECK OUT as we're trying to get what little rest we can before setting out on a 6 hour drive. Needless to say, that was not a good way to start our morning after an already frustrating and sleepless night. We expect better from Hyatt

I needed to book somewhere near JFK very last minute and went with the Hyatt. It's not the closest hotel you can get to the airport but I would choose them again no question. The room was very spacious (larger than average), it was spotless, modern and comfortable. The view isn't great so if you're looking for that then this isn't your place. But if you're looking for an airport hotel that feels like a mini-resort rather than the normal tired corporate airport hotel definitely choose this hotel. The food court could have been open a little later but that wasn't an issue, the casino is great for those who want that option and there are two starbucks on site. If it wasn't so far out from the city, I'd choose to stay here for my entire stay in New York.
